"And, and, he just flew in from know where like, woosh! Can you believe it?!" Adrien bounced excitedly next to Marinette who was walking with him to the high school.
"Pretty interesting." Marinette smirked. She knew Adrien was a huge fan of Iron man. He often talked about the hero for what seemed like forever and she just had to go along with it.
"But guess what! He stopped! Right next to me! And he said my name and smiled!" The blond haired boy was almost flying he was bouncing so high.
"Adrien, your model, you know that right? And Iron man cant smile, he has an Iron helmet that covers his whole head."
"I know, but I think he smiled under the mask! And when he was done and the bad guys went to jail, he was giving out auto graphs! And I was the first one!" Adrien stopped bouncing and dramatically clasped his hand over his chest. "I can die happy!"
"you know what, I think your actually gay. is their something your hiding from me?" Marinette leaned close to Adrien with a devilish grin.
"What?! No! And especially not for him! He is way older than me! Hmmm, I wish he was my dad instead of the one I've got." Adrien frowned and walked a little slower. His shoulders slumped as he immediately changed moods.
"Adrien! Don't say that! I'm sure your real dad loves you, its just harder for him to express it."
"mmm" Adrien pulled out his phone. He turned it to Marinette so it showed her his text messages with his dad. It was all Adrien, asking his dad questions, just saying hi, or asking for a ride and no response from the other side. The texts were sent at different times so Adrien hadn't been spamming his father.
"He's busy, you know that. But hey, cheer up! Today, you don't have photo shoots or fencing so we can go to the roller rink!" Marinette assured him. Adrien brightened up a little but still seemed glum. The two walked silently in the school that was a war zone.
The long slick halls were filled with kids trying to get to their lockers, and others stubbornly blocking the hall. Out of the corner of her eye, Marinette saw a strange commotion. She turned her head to get a better look and tugged Adrien's shirt. There was three large rounded but strong looking kids and a small boy on the ground. They were picking on the kids and kicking him as he held his head to protect it.
"Now those little-" Adrien began before he had to chase after a stormy Marinette. She was fuming and walked angrily towards the fight scene.
"Quite it!" She said but her voice was accompanied by some one else saying the same thing, at the same time. The voice didn't belong to Adrien, but instead to another boy on the other side of the fight. He was a little taller than the short Marinette, but not as tall as Adrien. He had curly brown hair and wore a loose fitting blue T-shirt. It was Peter Parker, a boy that was in a few of Marinette's classes.
Peter looked up, also startled by someone mirroring his voice. He saw Marinette and was even more surprised. She seemed shy, not the type to go around interfering fights.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Peter Pooper. Gonna fight me again?" said the boy in the middle of the group of bullies. He looked over at the two other teens who had approached. "Oh, and a surprise. Little miss pigtails and mister gay. Bet you can't do nothin." The gang laughed.
Marinette clenched her fists. Adrien placed his hand on her shoulder as if to tell her, "Don't do it!" She eased herself, but was still ready to punch the ugly boy in the face. A teacher walked in, one that wasn't in any of Marinette or Adrien's classes.
"Johnathan, Roy, and Dixon! To the Principles office, now!" He demanded pointing a finger in the direction of the office. The boys went pale, then ran off to the Principle's. "As for you three, meat me in my classroom, number 334."
