Spider Man climbed the side of a building using his sticking powers. He got higher and higher, leaving his backpack in the alley below unattended. He reached the top with little effort, and stood with the wind threatening to push him over.
"This is good." He said to himself. "Yes. Very nice." He had his hands on his hips looking around at the building towering around him. He walked to a different side of the building and looked down at the cars.
"I'm not going to embarrass myself this time." He lied to himself. "Yes. No falling over alleys this time. No shooting down a pigeon onto a car, no flying into the street, no practice flirting to a wall, no-"
"Sup man. Why you talked to yourself?" Said a casual voice behind him. Spider Man turned quickly feeling embarrassed.
"Adrien! What are you doing?!" He whisper screamed.
"Dunno. Thought I could chill today. Marinette's visiting her grandma so I'm alone tonight." He said standing next to Spider-Man now. He was Chat Noir at the moment, his black leather ears swayed in the wind.
"Yeah... How are you and Marinette? I mean, it's not my business but..."
"We're fine. Why do you ask?"
"Well... Earlier today I saw.., um, Chloe. She was beating up Marinette because you to are together now."
"What?! That doesn't sound like Chloe!"
"Actually, it does." Peter baffled at Chat's obliviousness.
"Oh..." Chat looked at his feet. Suddenly a blasting noise was heard behind them, accompanied by a loud thump.
"Ow." A man said as Spider Man and Chat Noir turned on their heals. It was Thor! He had come from this rainbow like thing that slammed him into the earth.
"Thor!" Peter exclaimed.
"Tiny man! How good it feels to see you!" Thor stood up, his voice low and ruff. "And who is this,... Cat, Thing?" He furs tired Chat Noir.
"Oh um... This is my new friend. Chat Noir."
"N-nice yo meet you." Chat mumbled. He was screaming on the inside because THE Thor was in front of him. Calling him a cat thing.
"Pleasure cat toy." Thor offered a hand to Chat who took it.
"It's... Um, it's Chat Noir." He got quiet.
"Thor, what are you-" spider man began to say but was interrupted.
"Oh yeah. Space aliens head to this midgardian realm. And I must protect it. And Loki wanted come so I brought him." Thor said guest using the sky them at his pocket. Out of the pocket a green hamster crawled out. It flopped onto the ground with a loud splay noise then stood. It looked at Adrien with beady black eyes.
"Aw. Cute." Chat bent down to pet it when the creature grew larger and formed into a human. "Ahh! Not cute!"
"Excuse me! I'm cute, thank you very much!" Loki crossed his arms.
"More like hot." Spider man blushed and covered his mouth.
"Does tiny man have homosexual affections for my brother?" Thor asked, raising an eyebrow.
"What!? No! I just-"
"Well he's wrong. I'm not hot. I'm flat out gorgeous." Loki said raising a hand to flick his hair.
"Guys. If he's gorgeous, then I'm sexy." Chat said.
"And I'm Chris Hamilton." Thor said proudly.
"What?" Spider man said accompanied by Loki and Chat.
"It just came to me." Thor said. "Anyways. Aliens should arrive at any-" he was interrupted by a loud blasting noise from the sky. Looking up, it was a giant space shuttle burning through the atmosphere. It looked like a saw blade as it crashed to the Earth, cutting through buildings. "Oh. They're here."
"Oh. My. Pickled. Green beans!" Spider-Man put his hands on his head. "What do we do?!"
"Get rid of them of course." Thor said casually. He swung his hammer and flew off to the ship.
"Wait! Your just leaving us with Loki?!" Spider man shrieked.
"Ugh. Stupid God." Iron man flew behind him. "I got the idiot number two. You guys stay here!" He grabbed Loki's shirt and flew off.
"Holy mother of Gea!" Chat screamed. "We gotta do something!"
"We can't,"
Chat jumped off with his baton to the aliens wrecking havoc. Spider man face palmed. Shaking his head, he ran after Chat.
Chat Noir flew off to join Thor. The God was waving his hammer and smashing it into the ship. Chat jumped I top of it.
"I think there's a faster way of destroying this thing than what your doing." He crouched over Thor using his staff.
"Oh really? Like what cat man?"
"Like this, cataclysm." Black magic swirled around Chat's fingertips. He pressed his hand to the alien spacecraft. It rusted and broke like dust, crumbling to the ground.
"By my own father Oden, what magic is this?!" Thor was surprised. "Might you be a god little one?"
"Nope. Just a kid." Chat smirked, pleased that he had impressed Thor. "Are there any Aliens?"
"No. This seemed to be a programmed machine, unmanned by the fowl beasts." Thor crossed his arms. He looked at Chat, with a serious face. "Little cat man, I wish to-"
"Whaaaa!" Spider man tumbled from the sky and landed in the wreckage. He was doing summersaults in the air.
"Tiny man! You know it to be rude to inter-"
"Sorry mister Thor sir. But um.." Spider man looked nervously at the sky. Thor looked displeased. "There's um... Flying rocks."
Thor and Chat followed Spider man's gaze to the sky. Large meteoroids were plummeting towards them.
"It was a diversion! The aliens attack!" Thor gripped his hammer. "This is war!" He flew up into the sky, electric lighting zapping him as he created a huge lightning bolt. Thor straightened his hammer and struck one of the Meteoroids with the lightening bolt. It hardly faded it.
"Need help?" Iron man returned to them. "I thought I told you two to stay where you were!" He crossed his metallic arms making clicking noises as the iron bumped into itself.
"You did! But then Ad- Chat Noir ran off and I chased after him and he destroyed the ship and Thor flew into the sky and lightning and meteoroids and-" spider man spoke quickly as if in fear of something.
"Oh won't you shut up?" Iron man said. "This is dangerous and- oh there he goes." He said as Chat flew off into the atmosphere.
"Can I join the party?" Black widow jumped behind them.
"No offense but... You can fly." Peter pointed out.
"I'm perfectly fine  you pickled pretzel brain." She had her hands on her hips.
"I'm here too!" Banner came behind her.
"Well I was just telling Peter to- PETER GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" Iron man yelled as the spider themed hero used his webs to fly off to the atmosphere. "That little fish headed goose!" He says and flew off with them.
"K. Go gre-" Natasha began to say when Banner turned into the hulk. "Oh. That works." She said.
The Hulk picked her up and held her as he jumped up with incredible height. He dropped her off in one asteroid as he moved to the next.
"It's getting to close to Earth!" Chat Noir yelled to Spider Man.
"Hold on!" Spider Man shot a web at it and tugged it upwards which did nothing. "Use your power!" He panicked as the meteoroid grew closer. They only had a few minutes left.
"I already did!" Chat panicked. "Claws in!" His transformation came off and he was Adrien Agreste clinging to a falling rock for dear life. "Catch me!"
He let go and flew upwards from the draft. Spider-Man grabbed his wrist. Plagg flew out and ate cheese while amused by the two teens scared faces.
"You guys are lame."
"Shut up! Claws out!" He became Chat Noir once more. The asteroid got closer. Too close. "We're not gonna make it!"
"No! We can! Cmon." Spider-Man wrapped the meteoroid in webs and attached it to a higher one.
"Cataclysm!" The dark magic crawled up the rock and web, destroying both asteroids. But unfortunately it hit Spiderman who let go of the web barely in time. It singed his suite.
"Ahh!" He gasped and clutched his fingertips feeling the burn marks. He looked at Char who was falling. He lost his grasp on the baton and now plume tree to the earth along with remnants of the two asteroids. The broken pieces were still big enough to do damage. "Adrien!" He screamed as Chat Noir fell farther.
A rock hit Chat's side, almost knocking him out. He stretched his hand out for his baton, but it fell slower than he.
Shadows of buildings followed either side of him. Some crashed from ruble as he entered the city.
Then he hit the ground hard. He felt himself go unconscious. Beside him, a building collapsed and Spider man worked frantically to save people.
Meanwhile Chat lay there, forgotten.
"Oh my gosh!" A girl screamed. Marinette. She had returned early. She rushed to his side.
His forehead was coated with blood. More of it oozed from his mouth. She fell to her knees, bending over him.
Tears filled her eyes. She lifted his head with a gentle hand, feeling do wounds. His cat like eyes fluttered open.
"Mari-" he choked up more blood. Marinette let out a single cry.
"Yes, I'm h-here." She set his head in her lap, not caring about the blood. "I-I'm here." She caressed his face, soothing him.
He smiled, more blood trickling down his chin. "M'lady." He said weekly.
"Yes?!"
"I-I... I love you. Thank you." He said. He raised a trembling hand to her face, holding her face. Blood stained her clothes, but she didn't care.
"I know silly. I-I love you too." She picked him up and hugged him, sitting in the rubble.
"I'm... I'm going to sleep now." He said, resting in her arms.
"Go ahead." She said, hugging him. Holding him. Feeling him.
Loving him.
"What's going on?!" A man landed in front of her.
"I-Iron man! Mr. Stark?!" She said still holding Chat to her chest.
"Yes. What happened?" He said sternly.
"He got hurt." She said, choking on her own tears.
"I knew you two weren't meant for the job! Your teens! Ladybug, you have no right as a hero. Your to weak!"
"She's not weak!" Spider man ran forward. "She's strong. Strong enough to cope with... With this! Strong enough to know what's right! Strong enough to-"
"Hush! Your not ready either!"
"You were the one attacked by a goose the other day! And you lost!"
"That was scary! Ok?! You know what? Give me time to think. And don't get in trouble!" With that he flew off.
"Want me to take you guys home?" Peter asked. Marinette simply nodded her head, tears streaming down her cheeks.
