Hello there. My name is Halfborn Gunderson and here is something I copied from my feed. I figured it was extremely important to bring these topics up. This is literally copied word for word.
Hey, I'm here right now for a few reasons. None of which will be the happy, silly, joking around reasons I try to post here. I will start by saying this. We live a world were society has made so many great achievements in medicine, equality of many kinds; race, sexuality, gender, religion or other. Yet everything good thing comes with it's far share of horrible events. As every action has it's equal and opposite reaction. Sadly that has happened in the past few days. I hate to make this announcement but I feel it is necessary. As most of you know about the horrific shooting that occurred in New Zealand. We hold those affected close to our hearts. Losing a love one is a crippling and horrific event that I pray each and everyone of you will never have to go through. Death should only be of nature cause. If you know someone who has been effected please reach out to them. As moving forward with something less dramatic as it will never make headline news or leave my quiet little town's school. A brief background will be needed for this. My class is studying Holocaust, for it we had to do Identity posters. Which told the class about us. I have a few lesbian friends a trans gendered friend and I am gay. A kid put on their poster "ANTI-GAY!" In huge bold red letters with the Pride flag next to it. The flag was crossed out. The teacher said "Outstanding work" and gave his a 95. I want to say this now. You can be anti gay, all you want at your god damn fucking house. I figured both of these topics had to be discussed. I know did a little more detail into the shooting. I know the second event was not as huge as the shooting and I spent longer on it. I will be addressing that matter later. Please hold all 49 dead and their families in prayer. Help with what ever you can. Back to the topic of hate and mental illness. If you have a mental illness of any form you are not alone. I love you! A few words; As there is no room in this world for racism, sexism, homophobia, trans phobia, xenophobia or bigotry of any kind. <3
