Ribbit.

A bright green frog sat on your bare chest between the valley of your breasts, it's throat moving rapidly before it hopped onto your pillow and with one more croak you sighed and sat up, holding your hands flat for it to jump onto. "Look I'd apologise Jeonggukie but you knew what you were getting yourself into," you laughed when he turned away from you and hopped onto the floor and towards the door.

Ribbit.

"That was your second chance so-" you slid off the bed and wrapped the sheets around you as Jeongguk, previously a powerful fae prince, watched you from the floor. You noticed this and dumped the sheets on him before running and sliding your legs into a pair of trousers from the floor. "You used your second chance and you're a frog so we're back to friends. Unless you enjoy that form so much you'd sacrifice it because you're dying for a piece of this."

The room was quiet as you buttoned up your blouse before walking to find Jeongguk sitting atop the sheets where you picked him up, "you wouldn't be the first to sacrifice your human form for me."

Just as he hopped onto your head, slime most likely sinking your bedhead, the door slammed open and you hiccuped in surprise as you found yourself facing a well groomed and awake Namjoon.

For a second you both stood in silence until he chuckled at the state you were in, "last night, really?" The frog croaked from atop your head as if to answer the question, "it was Jimin's stag night Princess, if this is Gukkie you're gonna be in a lot of trouble!" Your eyes widened as you remembered why Jeongguk had been drunk enough to risk becoming a frog; his best friend was getting married today.

Ribbit.

"He'll turn back before the wedding," you replied, barging past Namjoon as you made your way to the pond. As you made your way through the hallways, bare feet cold against the black marble floor, you could hear Namjoon's shoes behind you. The two boys seemed to create a discordant tune with Jeongguk's incessant ribbits and the sound of Namjoon's boots tapping against the floor in a continuous rhythm.

When you finally reached the end of the corridor, hands reaching out to push open the garden door when you heard laughter as someone scooped up Jeongguk from your head, "the frog princess strikes again!" Taehyung laughed and glanced at Namjoon who was trying to suppress his smile at the nickname you had carried since a young age.

"Let me put him in the pond," you replied, voice staying curiously steady instead of trembling in the embarrassing anticipation of Taehyung realising it was Jeongguk, but looking up at his boxy smile and bright eyes, you knew it was too late.

Taehyung waltzed around the courtyard with Jeongguk in his hands before the younger boy leapt out of them and back onto your head with a soft ribbit. The two boys burst into laughter and you glared at Namjoon before huffing and walking towards the pond, "after all these years why do you guys still find my curse the funniest?"

The boys shrugged in reply and as you placed Jeongguk in the pond water there was a puff of smoke of his transformation, making your eyes squint shut. "You turn suitors into frogs Y/N," Jeongguk's voice was croaky, and he coughed to clear it before continuing, "why wouldn't we find that ridiculously funny?"

Jeongguk was currently stark naked, his placed hands on his hips as if daring you to say something, which of course, you had to. "The boy who is cursed to only tell the truth," you glared at Taehyung pointedly before turning and staring directly into Jeongguk's eyes to avoid looking at any of the hickies you had left on him last night, "and the one who turns into a swan every four weeks."

"Frog Princess just has a ring to it," Taehyung replied before yelping as you went to hit him, the prince sprinting back into the castle, followed quickly by Jeongguk who was now wearing Namjoon's long coat. But you didn't really care about them, rather, you were busy glaring at the boy whose hand had engulfed your raised fist and was yet to let it go.

With a firm tug, you released yourself from Namjoon's grip and stomped off to sit at the edge of the pond. "Stop being so mean to those boys," you rolled your eyes at his commanding tone, dipping your fingers into the cool water of the pond and watching the ripples spread across the water.

Until a hand landed on your shoulder and you brushed it off, whipping around in sudden frustration, "You never take my side!" Namjoon's eyes widened before he smiled and his dimples deepened, making you annoyed at yourself for finding him so attractive.

"I'm your guard, not a babysitter," Namjoon replied smoothly, he adjusted the sword on his belt as if to make a point but you were busy muttering to yourself about how much nicer Namjoon had been as a child. When you were both kids, running around the castle bare-footed and care-free, with Namjoon constantly defending you when the boys would tease you and follow any order you felt like giving him.

That didn't mean you wished to return to those empty days full of unfulfilled pining when now you could fight with Namjoon during the day and have the memory of sharing your bed with him to help you through the nights.

"You look like you're thinking something perverted," Namjoon was sitting with his back resting against yours, and you rolled your eyes before jumping to your feet and beginning to stretch your arms and legs.

You caught him staring at you with those eyes, bedroom eyes and when he was zoned in on your ass, you reached forward and flicked his forehead to bring your guard back to the future. "Says you, as if you weren't just staring at my ass."

"Princess! We need you for the fitting!"

A frog leapt over a lilypad and the clouds covered the bright blue sky as a pair of lips pressed against yours, large hands smoothing down your back to grab your ass and haul you up. Namjoon had, apparently, gotten bored of your teasing and now as you wrapped your legs around his waist, deepening the kiss to hear Namjoon rumble into your mouth. You knew that your guard was the thing putting you in the most danger.

"The wedding is today princess! You can't put it off for another minute!"

With a sigh, you untangled yourself from Namjoon's grip and squeezed his ass with a wink before heading back to the castle. In a few seconds, you heard him running up behind you, "I'm your guard, you can't get rid of me that easily."

"But I can try!" you replied, sprinting into the castle and skidding on the floors as you made your way towards the tailor's quarters. The maid had called you from the window of the room and you wondered if she'd report you for kissing Namjoon, but then again, the fae encouraged you to test the limits of your curse.

A hand landed on your shoulder and you paused on the staircase, standing above Namjoon with a grin as he caught his breath. With a sad smile you decided there was one thing to do keep Namjoon safe, "I promise to never use my curse on you again."

He choked a laugh, "fundamentally the whole point of a curse is that there is an inability to control it." You rolled your eyes and began to walk up the staircase until he tried to grab your hand, "what does that even mean?"

"I'm not sleeping with you again."
