Mary's POV
I heard Sam having another nightmare. "Sam wake up." Dean said, sadly Sam didn't wake up. I wetted my finger on the hand that wasn't broken and gave him a wet willy it woke him up. "Which one of you gave me a wet willy?" He asked. "Mae." Dean said. "Geez thanks sis." He said sarcasm. I shrugged. "Hey it woke you up." I said. "Yeah but I was getting sleep." Sam said. "Plus we're here." I said pointing to the building. "Welcome to Toledo, Ohio." Dean said. "Okay May stay in the car." Dean said. I nodded and stayed in the car and drew a demon's trap Bobby taught me a couple years back, kinda difficult with a broken hand. Dean and Sam got back in. "Let's go to a funeral and you need better mourning clothes." Dean said. We stopped at a thrift shop where I got my outfit. I changed smiling at my outfit. We walked in and I was holding Dean's hand, the non broken one obviously. "Hi we were friends with your dad this is my daughter Mary." Dean said. I waved with my broken hand. "How'd you break your hand?" They youngest girl asked. "Climbing a tree." I lied not telling her an asshole demon broke it. "I'm Lily." Lily said. "Mary. I'm sorry about your dad." I said. "Yeah well I killed him." Lily said. "Why would you think that?" I asked. "I summoned Bloody Mary." She said. Bloody Mary but that's just an urban legend of a lady who died in front of a mirror. "Um I have to use the bathroom." I lied. "Upstairs second door to the left." Lily said. "Thanks." I said. I walked upstairs Sam and Dean followed. "Anything?" Sam and Dean asked. "Lily thinks she summoned Bloody Mary who killed her dad." I said. "But Bloody Mary is just an old urban legend." Dean said. "Well they all start somewhere maybe, you know who is just a vengeful sprit." Sam said as Dean put a mirror in front of him. "Stop that I don't want one of you two dead." I said to Dean. "Who are you three?" One of the girls asked us as we turned around. "Friends of the two girl's dad and this is my daughter." Dean said. "How did you two know him?" The girl asked. "Work." Sam said. "He worked alone." The girl said. Shit we better do more reasearch on the person before crashing the funeral. "Okay fine we're looking for the thing that killed their dad." Sam said. "So what's with the kid?" She asked pointing to me. "I'm helping." I said. "Take your child to work day." Dean said looking at me to just shut up. "Listen here." Sam said and gave her his phone number. "If anything else that strange happens to your friends call this." Sam said. The girl nodded. "What's your name by the way?" I asked. "Charlie." Charlie said. I nodded. We got to a library and I changed back to my clothes from earlier and put my dress in my duffel and put it in the car. I walked back in and saw all the computers out of order. "You've gotta be shittin me." I said to Sam and Dean. "Yeah so all the town's history is books and newspapers." Sam said setting them down. I read them and didn't find anything. It was getting late so we headed to the motel room. I got in bed and fell asleep quickly. I woke up to someone hitting me with a newspaper. I looked and saw Dean smirking. I picked up the paper and smacked him with it. "Asshat." I said getting up and putting my combat boots on. "Yeah well Charlie's friend died due to Bloody Mary so come on." Dean said. We got in the car and drove to a park. "Go on and play." Dean said. I nodded and climbed a tree one handed, keeping my broken one away, having fun and letting my energy out by swinging on a tree with one hand. "And we're gonna stop we just need your help." Dean said. "Mae come on." Sam said. I swung off the tree doing a flip and landing hard on my feet. "Okay." I said. We got to Charlie friends house, Jill I think it was. We got to the two storey window. Charlie opened it. I crawled in landing gracefully. Sam got in also silently Dean tossed him a duffel bag and got in himself not gracefully and he's broken in the most houses. "What did you tell Jill's mom?" I asked Charlie. "That I needed time with Jill's photos Mar." Charlie said. I didn't mind her calling me Mad, because of Bloody Mary. "Good." I said. "Trust us this is for the greater good hit the lights." Dean said. I turned them off. "What are you guys looking for?" Charlie asked. "We'll let you know as soon as we find it." Dean said. "Hey, night vision.... Perfect." Sam said as I turned it on. "I don't get it the first victim didn't summon Bloody Mary but the second one did." I said confused and sitting on the bed. "So how is she choosing her victims." Sam said mostly to himself. "Beats me." Dean said to us. I nodded and looked around it looked like a normal teenage room. Pictures with friends and everything. "Well why did Jill say it in the first place?" I asked Charlie. "It was supposed to be a joke." Charlie said. "Yeah, well somebody's gonna day it again it's just a matter of time." Dean said. I nodded. "Hey look at this." Sam said pointing the camera to the bathroom mirror. We took it off the wall. "Mae there's a black light in the bag right?" He asked. I looked and found it. I tossed to Sam. We took the brown paper and saw the name Gary Byman. "Who's Gary Byman?" I asked Charlie, maybe she knew him. "Sorry, I don't know." Charlie said. We were now outside. Charlie signed my cast since she asked how I broke it. "Okay, So Gary Byman was an eight year, caught in a hit in run. The car was a Toyota Camry no one got the license plate or the person." Sam said. "Oh my god, Jill drove that car. "We need to go back to the Shoemaker's house." I said. They nodded we got there and looked at the mirror with the black light and saw Linda Shoemaker. "Linda Shoemaker." Sam said. We were now downstairs asking Donna while Dean held the mirror. "Please Donna it's important." I said giving her my puppy dog eyes. "Fine, Linda was my mom, she overdosed on sleeping pills, it was an accident. I think you should leave." Donna said. "Now Donna just listen." Dean said. "Get our of my house!" Donna yelled pushing us out. "Well since Bloody Mary is going after killers maybe Mr. Shoemaker killed his wife." I said. "Oh my god, you think that?" Charlie asked. "Maybe." Sam said. "I think I should stick around." Charlie said. "Okay but whatever you do don't...." Dean said but Charlie cut him off. "Oh believe me I won't." Charlie said. We nodded. We were now in the motel room. I was doing some math in the workbook Dean gets me so I know basic things. "You're doing a nation wide search?" Sam asked noticing Dean doing it. "It wouldn't hurt Sammy." I said. "Hey any Mary who died in front of a mirror is good for me." Dean said. "But if she's haunting the town, wouldn't she died in the town." Sam said. "Yes, but I looked in all the newspapers no Mary died in front of mirrors." I said. "The way Mary is choosing her victims. It's like a pattern." Sam said. "I was thinking the same thing." Dean said. I started thinking. Mr. Shoemaker killing his wife and Jill killing the boy. "I figured it out." I said loudly scaring the boys. "What is it?" Dean asked. "Both has secrets where and how people died." I said. "You're right Mae, there is a lot of folklore of mirrors that they reveal all your lies and secrets." Sam said. "Also that they show your true soul that's why it's bad luck to break them." I said remembering something about folklore. "Right. Right so maybe if you got a real nasty secret Bloody Mary comes around." Dean said. "Whether you're the one who summoned her or not." Sam said. "Take a look at this." Dean said showing us of a woman dead in front of a mirror all bloody. "It's a shock I don't have nightmares." I mumbled. "Looks like the same handprint." Dean said. "Mary Worthington an unsolved murder in Fort Wayne Indiana." Sam
said. "Let's go." Sam said. They left I was in the motel room and continued doing workbook work. I went to bed and ate breakfast the next morning. I was doing English work and saw Sam, Dean, and Charlie, who looked like she saw a ghost. "May cover any reflective surface." Dean said. I covered them and they had Charlie lie face down. "Okay can you two morons explain what's going on?" I asked them. "Donna said Bloody Mary three times and you know." Sam said. "Yeah, three times means death." I said. "Okay well come on we know where the mirror is. "Okay so one of us had to summon Bloody Mary." Dean said. "I will." Sam and I said. "No, and May your not guilty of anything." Dean said. Oh what he doesn't know. I feel guilty of my mom dying since if I wasn't born she'd still be alive. "Please." Sam and I said. "Fine you two." Dean said still not liking our idea. We got two baseball bats and stood in front of a bunch of mirrors in an antique shop. "Bloody Mary... Bloody Mary... Bloody Mary." Sam and I said in front of a mirror to our reflection. I saw her and swung my bat, one handed, breaking one. We heard sirens. "I'll go take care of it. Sam saw her and smashed another one we both smashed other ones to Hey Mary to one mirror. Soon we saw our reflections look evil. "You two are killers." Our reflections. "You killed Jess." Sam's reflection said. "You killed your own mom." My reflection said. We started feeling bloody fall from our eyes and suddenly Dean broke the mirror. "You two okay?" He asked. "Yeah." Sam and I said. We saw Bloody Mary come out of the mirror abs tried killing us. " I picked up a mirror with my good hand. "You killed all those people." Her reflection said in a creepy tone. She died and I threw the mirror shattering it. "How much bad luck did you two rack up?" Dean asked. "I don't know." I said. We got back and dropped Charlie off at home. "Bye Charlie." We said. "Bye guys." Charlie said. "Oh and Charlie stop blaming yourself for your ex-boyfriend's death it wasn't your fault." Sam said. "Okay." Charlie said. She went inside. "Maybe you should take your own advice." I said. "Jerk." He said to me. "Asshat." I said. "Bitches." Dean said to us making us laugh. "So ever gonna tell me what secret you two have?" Dean asked. "That's the point in a secret Dean, no one knows." I said. I looked and saw Sam looking at the window like he saw a ghost. I just opened my book and read some more. "Hey in two weeks I can get this cast off." I said happy. "Yeah." Dean said remembering that. I just continued reading as we left the town to the next.A\N:Yay an update during my spring break.
