Mary's POV
I was forced to stay in the car while Kara, Dean, and Sam went in to kill a thing at a house. I looked and saw two kids running out. I got out and dialed 911 giving them a blanket. "911 what's your emergency?" Someone asked. "Yes my brothers, sister, and I found two kids who are hurt." I said. "Okay what's the address?" The one asked. I told them. "Okay, an ambulance is on it's way." The dispatcher said and hung up. I saw Kara and Sam run out. "Where's Dean?" I asked them. "Fighting the thing." Sam said. I nodded. The ambulance came and took the kids. "Is anyone else in that house?" One asked us. "My older brother." Sam and I said togather. They got him and it looked like he went to hell. We were now in the hospital and I was anxiously tapping my foot. "Mae he'll be fine." Kara said. "If you do the whole have faith talk I'll clock ya." I said. She laughed. "Okay got it Mae." She said. I rested my head on her shoulder she ran her hand through it. We saw a doctor come out. "Hey, Doc. Is he..." Sam trailed off. "He's resting." The doctor said. "And?" I asked standing up next to Sam, Kara joining me. "The electrocution triggered a heart attack. Pretty massive, I'm afraid. His heart...it's damaged." The doctor said and my heart shattered in a million pieces. "How damaged?" Kara asked. "We've done all we can. We can try and keep him comfortable at this point. But, I'd give him a couple weeks, at most, maybe a month." The doctor said sadly to us. "No, no. There's, there's...gotta be something you can do, some kind of treatment." Kara, Sam, and I said in unison. "We can't work miracles. I really am sorry." The doctor said. Sam, Kara, and I walked to Dean's room and saw him watching tv pale as the sheet and had dark circles. We entered and Dean said, very weakly, to us. "Have you ever actually watched daytime TV? It's terrible." I chuckled at that. "We talked to your doctor." Sam said. "That fabric softener teddy bear. Oh, I'm gonna hunt that little bitch down." Dean said. How much pain killers did they give him. "Dean." Kara said getting his attention. He turned off the TV. "Yeah. All right, well, looks like you three are gonna leave town without me." Dean said. "What are you talking about? We're not gonna leave you here." I said. "Hey, you better take care of that car. Or, I swear, I'll haunt your ass." Dean said to Sam. Kara and I stifled a laugh at this. "I don't think that's funny." Sam said. "Oh, come on, it's a little funny." Kara said. I looked down fighting tears seeing my brother like this he noticed.  "Look, Mae, what can I say, Sis, it's a dangerous gig. I drew the short straw. That's it, end of story." Dean said to me and had his arms out for a hug I  hugged him and he pulled me on the bed. "It's gonna be okay. Take care of Kara and Sammy." He said kissing my forehead. I nodded. Kara, Sam, and I left. I was in the hotel room and called Dad getting the voicemail. "This is John Winchester. I can't be reached. If this is an emergency, call my son and daughter. Dean and Mary. 866-907-3235. They can help." I sighed. "Hey dad it's Mae. Uh...you probably won't even get this, but, uh...it's Dean. He's sick, and uh...the doctors say there's nothing they can do. Um...but, uh, they don't know the things we know, right? So, don't worry, cause Sammy and Kara are uh...gonna do whatever it takes to get him better. Alright...just wanted you to know." I said and turned off throwing the phone on the motel bed and fell facedown in the middle. "Don't fall asleep we share that bed." Kara said. Now with Kara we share a bed and Sam and Dean share a bed. I rolled over and heard a knock on the motel door. "One of you get it." I said. "Sam." Kara said sitting next to me and Sammy opened it. "What the hell are you doing here?" Kara and I looked and saw a horrible looking Dean. "I checked myself out." Dean said. "What, are you crazy?" Kara and I asked together. "Well, I'm not gonna die in a hospital where the nurses aren't even hot." Dean said shrugging we rolled our eyes at him. "You know, this whole I-laugh-in-the-face-of-death thing? It's crap. We can see right through it." Kara said as Sam closed the door. I nodded. "Yeah, whatever, dudes. Have you three even slept? You three look worse than me." Dean said. "Sam and Kara have been scouring the Internet for the last three days. I've been calling every contact in Dad's journal." I said Kara helping Dean to a chair. "For what?" Dean asked. "For a way to help you. One of Dad's friends, Joshua, he called us back. Told us about a guy in Nebraska. A specialist." Sam said. "You three are not gonna let me die in peace, are you?" Dean asked. "We're not gonna let you die, period. We're going." Kara said and smiled. It was the next day and Sam drove there and we got out and there was a protester and other people Sam helped Dean out. "A faith healer, really? Man, you three are lying bastards. Thought you said we were going to see a doctor." Dean said. "I believe Sam said a specialist. Look, Dean, this guy's supposed to be the real deal." I said. "I can't believe you three brought me here to see some guy who heals people out of a tent." Dean said. "You've met us right?" Kara asked. An elderly lady with an umbrella walked up to us. "Reverend LeGrange is a great man." She said to Dean. "Yeah, that's nice." Dean said to her we walked past sheriffs and a protester. "I have a right to protest. This man is a fraud. And he's milking all these people out of their hard-earned money." The protester said. "Sir, this is a place of worship. Let's go. Move it." The sheriff said dragging the man away. "I take it he's not part of the flock." Dean said. "I take it he's not part of the flock." Dean said to us. "But when people see something they can't explain, there's controversy." Sam and I said Kara wrapped her arm around Dean to keep him up right. "I mean, come on, Sam, Mae, and Kara, a faith healer?" Dean asked. "Maybe it's time to have a little faith, Dean." Sam said. "I'm You know what I've got faith in? Reality. Knowing what's really going on." Dean said. "How can you be a skeptic? I With the things we see everyday?" I say to Dean. "Exactly. We see them, we know there real." Dean said. "Well, if demons exist, they have to come from somewhere and hell is the only possible thing." I said to them. "Also if you know evil's out there, how can you not believe good's out there, too?" Kara said to Dean. "Because I've seen what evil does to good people." Dean said. "Maybe God works in mysterious ways." We heard a girls voice behind Dean he looked. "Maybe he does. I think you just turned me around on the subject." Dean said Kara looked ready to punch someone. "Kara and I are gonna go find seats." I said Sam nodded. We walked over to the tent. "Try not to deck a girl at place of worship." I said to Kara. "I can't help it I'm with Dean and he flirts with a girl." Kara said. "Hey let's go find a place to sit." Sam said coming up to us. Dean held Kara's hand while smiling at her. We walked in and looked around seeing it looks like a small church with an alter and candles. "Yeah, peace, love, and trust all over." Dean said nodding his head toward security cameras. We shrugged Dean went to sit in the back but we pulled him. "Come on." Sam and I said pulling him to the front Kara helping us. "Don't! What are you doing? Let's sit here." Dean said. "We're sitting up front." Kara said to him. "What? Why?" Dean asked confused. "Come on." I said rolling my eyes ignoring the question. "Oh, come on, Sam." Dean said trying to get Sam on his side. "You alright?" Sam asked to look him over. "This is ridiculous. I'm good, dude, get off me." Dean said slapping Sam's hand away when he tried touching Dean. "Perfect." I said seeing four seats behind the girl and her mother. "Yeah, perfect." Dean said sarcastically. "You take the aisle." Sam and Kara said. I moved in first, than Sam, than Kara, and finally Dean sat down. Suddenly an old man and his wife came out smiling. "Each morning, my wife, Sue Ann, reads me the news. Never seems good, does it? Seems like there's always someone committing some immoral, unspeakable act." The man side he was probably blind with the sunglasses. I noticed the items on the table and the cross had a smaller cross in a circle on it I've seen one like that before. "But, I say to you, God is watching." Roy said. "Yes he is." The crowd mumbled. "God rewards the good, and He punishes the corrupt." The man said. I looked down and saw the name Roy. The crowd nodded murmuring. "It is the Lord who does the healing here friends. The Lord who guides me in choosing who to heal by helping me see into people's hearts." Roy said and everyone agreed. "Yeah, and into their wallets." Dean said quietly to us, you don't say that in a place where you won't die hopefully. "You think so, young man?" Roy asked Dean. Everyone went quiet and looked at us. I slid down in my seat trying not to be seen. "Sorry." Dean said politely. "No, no. Don't be. Just watch what you say around a blind man, we've got real sharp ears." Roy said to us making everyone laugh. "What's your name, son?" Roy asked Dean. "Dean." Dean said hesitantly. "Dean. I want-I want you to come up here with me." Roy said. People started clapping along with Sam, Kara, and I to get him to go up. I noticed the girl and her mom didn't do any and Sue Ann went down to get him. "No, it's ok." Dean said trying not to go up there. "What are you doing?!" Kara and Sam whisper asked him I gave him a hard stare that said. 'Go up there or I'll drag you up there'. "You've come here to be healed, haven't cha?" Roy asked Dean smiling. "Well, yeah, but ahh... maybe you should just pick someone else." Dean said. Is he insane I am not loosing my older brother. "Oh, no. I didn't pick you, Dean, the Lord did." Roy said. "Get up there!" Sam, Kara, and I said to him. Dean got up and walked up to Roy with Sue Ann's help. "You ready?" Roy asked once Dean was next to him. "Look, no disrespect, but ahh, I'm not exactly a believer." Dean said to Roy. "You will be, son. You will be." Roy said smiling at Dean. "Pray with me, friends." He said to all of us. We all joined hands and prayed. I saw Dean's eyes glaze over and fall to the ground Roy's hand still on his forehead. "Dean!" The three of us yelled and ran up to him. The crowd is clapping excited. We saw him wake up eyes bursting open. "Say Something!" Sam said. Dean looked shocked for a minute than at us. "I feel okay?" Dean said like a question to us. We we're now at a hospital getting Dean checked out. "So, you really feel okay?" Sam asked Dean. "I feel fine, Sam." Dean said unhappy. "Sam can you stop asking that?" Kata asked eating grapes with me. The doctor walked in reading the paperwork. "Well, according to all your tests there's nothing wrong with your heart. No sign there ever was. Not that a man your age should be having heart trouble, but, still it's strange it does happen." The doctor said. "What do you mean, strange?" Dean asked. "Well, just yesterday, a young guy like you, twenty-seven, athletic. Out of nowhere, heart attack." The doctor said. "Thanks, Doc." Dean said. "No problem." The doctor said leaving. "That's odd." I said about the guy having a heart attack who was an athlete. "Maybe it's a coincidence. People's hearts give out all the time, Mae." Sam said to me. "No, they don't." Kara said to Sam. "Look, guys, do we really have to look this one in the mouth? Why can't we just be thankful that the guy saved Dean's life and move on?" Sam asked. "I can't shake this feeling, that's why." Dean said. "What feeling?" Sam asked. "When I was healed, I just...I felt wrong. I felt cold. And for a second...I saw someone. This, uh, this old man. And I'm telling you, Sam, it was a spirit." Dean said. "But if there was something there, Dean, I think I would've seen it, too. I mean, I've been seeing an awful lot of things lately." Sam said. "Well, excuse me, psychic wonder. But you're just gonna need a little faith on this one. Sam, I've been hunting long enough to trust a feeling like this." Dean said. "Wait you have psychic power?" Kara asks us. "Yeah we found out after Sam dreamt about their old house." I explained to Kara. "Okay." Kara said, that was odd Kara usaully doesn't ask questions like that.
Kara's POV
How is it possible Sam has psychic powers like me. It's probably a coincidence. "Kara come on." Mary said taking me out of my thoughts. We walked out and went to the motel I looked at Mary looking at Sam's laptop. "Looking into the guy?" I asked. "Yep." She said smiling. "Okay you two let's go." Sam said. We got to a gym place talking to an employee we left Mary in the car so it wasn't suspicious that we had a ten year old. "I'm telling you, he seemed healthy. Swam every day, didn't smoke. So, a heart attack just kind of seemed, well, bizarre." The employee said to us in the swimming locker room. "And you said he was running, right before he collapsed?" I asked. "Yeah, yeah, he was freaking out. He said that something was, uh, was after him." The employee said. "Did he say what?" Sam asked. "Well, thin air is what. I mean, it wasn't anything." The employee said. Weird.
Mary's POV
I was so bored in the car. I saw Ricky texted me.
Ricky:Sup Winchester
Mary:Hello Harvelle.
Ricky:I'm bored
Mary:I remember Kara saying you have a sister.
Ricky:Yeah Jo.
Mary:Annoy her.
Ricky:I can't she's at school
Mary:Aren't you hunters?
Ricky:Yeah but Jo still goes to school.
Mary:I'm homeschooled you?
Ricky:Same but it was from bullying. Since I'm Bi.
Mary:Cool I gotta go Sam and Kara are coming back.
"So you two find anything that could cause the guy to die?" I asked them as they got in the car. "As far as the employee knows the man was completely healthy." Kara said. "So Dean was right." I said. They nodded. We got to the motel room and I decided to take a nap. I ended up sleeping through the night. "Hey come on we're going to stop more people dying." Kara said waking me up. "Explain please." I said. We got in the impala and they explained. "Okay so Dean and I will try to stop the service you two figure out what the hell is going on." I said to them. "Okay." They agreed. We got there and saw the man still protesting maybe Roy will kill him next for bad mouthing his work. "If Roy's using a spell, there might be a spell book." Sam said pulling me out of my thoughts. "See if you can find it. Hurry up too, the service starts in fifteen minutes. We'll try to stall Roy." Dean said and we got out. "Roy LeGrange is a fraud. He's no healer." The guy said to us as we walked out. "Amen Brother." Dean and Sam said. "You keep up the good work." Kara and I said patting him on the shoulder. "Thank you." The man said to us smiling. Dean and I went to the tent we looked around. Suddenly his home rang. "What have you got?" Dean asked with the phone on speaker so I could hear them. "Roy's choosing victims he sees as immoral. And I think I know who's next on his list. Remember that protestor?" Sam asked. "What, the guy in the parking lot?" I asked. "Yeah. Yeah, I'll find him. But you can't let Roy heal anyone, alright?" Kara said in the phone. They hung up right as Roy picked someone. "Layla. Layla Rourke. Come up here child." Roy said and Layla got up shocked. "Mum. Thank you." Layla said to her mom hugging her. "I love you child." Her Mom said as I thought of a plan. "Oh man." Dean said and grabbed Layla's arm. "Layla, listen to me. You can't go up there." Dean said. "Why not? We've waited for months!" Layla yelled in a hush whisper. "You can't let Roy heal you." I said to her. "I don't understand, Roy healed you didn't he? Why can't you let him try?" Layla said to Dean. "Cause if you do something bad is going to happen. I can't explain. I just need you to believe me" Dean said to her. Sue Ann cane up. "Layla." She said holding out her hand. "Please." Dean and I said in unison. Layla looked at us, then Sue Ann, and then her mother who is nodding her head. "I'm sorry." Layla said going up, oh no. "Layla. Layla!" Dean said. Sue Ann put her arm around Layla. "Dear child! You deserve this." Sue Ann said letting Layla on stage. "I knew the Lord was planning. I knew it was just a matter of time." Roy said. Dean moved back when I got an idea. I got my lighter out and threw it in the grass starting a fire. "Fire! Everybody out. There's a fire!" I yelled and everyone ran out. Dean was on the phone with Sam and Kara and I noticed Sue Ann was still inside and I put out the fire. "Sue Ann." I said. "Sammy and Kara it's Sue Ann." Dean said and hung up and we walked up to her looking at her cross Sue Ann put it in her blouse. "Help! Help me!" She Ann said and two police officers grabbed us. "She started a fire and he tried to touch me." Sue Ann said. We were lead out and in the field. "I just don't understand. After everything we've done for you. After Roy healed you. I'm just very very disappointed Dean, and you young lady should not have a lighter." Sue Ann said. She lucky were being held by police or I'd strangle her. "You can let them go. I'm not gonna press charges. The Lord will deal with them as he sees fit." Sue Ann said. The police officers released us. "We catch you two round here again, we'll put the fear of God in you two, understand?" One said. Dean and I nodded. "Yes sir, fear of god. Got it." We said in unison. They left Dean went to talk to Layla I went to the car and saw Ricky texted me.
Ricky:Kara just said you started a fire.
Mary:It was to stop a reaper from killing someone.
Ricky:Okay, but I want to start a fire with you someday.
Mary:Okay.
Sam and Kara came up to me. Dean also did. "Texting Ricky?" Kara asked. "Yep he's a good friend. We got to the motel room and we sat on the bed. "So Roy really believes." Sam said. "I don't think he has any idea what his wife's doing." I said. "Well, we found this. Hidden in their library. It's ancient. Written by a priest who went dark side. There's a binding spell in here for trapping a reaper." Kara said handing it to Dean and I. "Must be a hell of a spell." Dean said. "Yeah. You gotta build a black alter with seriously dark stuff. Bones, human blood. To cross a ine like that, a preachers wife. Black magic. Murder. Evil." Sam said. "Desperate. Her husband was dying, she didn't have anything to save him. She was using the binding spell to keep the reaper away from Roy." Kara said to us. "Cheating death, literally." I said. "Yeah but Roy's alive, so why is she still using the spell?" Dean said. "Right. To force the reaper to kill people she thinks are immoral." Sam said. "May God save us from half the people who think they're doing God's work." Dean said. "We gotta break that binding spell guys." Kara said. "You know Sue Ann had a coptic cross like this. When she dropped it the reaper backed off." I said. "So you think we gotta find the cross or destroy the alter?" Sam and Kara asked. "Maybe both. Whatever we do we better do it soon, or he's healing Layla tonight." Dean said. "Well let's go." I said. We got to Roy's house at night and saw Layla's car. "That's Layla's car. She's already here." Sam said. "Yeah." Dean said. "Okay so Dean you and Kara try to stop Sue Ann while Mae
and I destroy the altar." Sam said. We got out and Dean and Kara led the police away and Sam and I found the altar in a cellar. We saw Dean's face from the security cameras the first day with a cross on it that looks like blood. "I gave your brother life and I can take it away, and your bratty sister is next." Sue Ann's voice said causing us to turn around. I looked at the altar and tipped it over breaking it. "Oops I tripped." I said. Sam went to her but Sue Ann was up the stairs and shut us in. "Mae got any ideas?" Sam asked. "When have I not." I said and saw a hatchet. "I'm gonna go full Lizzie Borden." I said and chopped the door open. We ran and I noticed Kara trying to protect Dean from the reaper since nothing was there. Sam went to help Kara and I saw Sue Ann. I turned her around. "Hi." I said and took the necklace breaking it. I saw Sue Ann look pissed and then the reaper killed her. I walked over to them at the car. "You Ok?" I asked Dean. "Hell of a week." Dean said. "No kidding." Kara said. "Yeah....All right, come on. We should get going." Sam said. We got in the car and back in the impala. I fell asleep on the way there. I woke up the next day and we packed up which I didn't have a lot. We were just about ready to leave when I heard a knock. "I'll get it." I said and opened the door seeing Layla. "Hi Mary, Sam called saying Dean wanted to see me before you all left." Layla said. Kara looked ready to murder Sam and he ran Kara chasing him. "He's there I'll make sure Kara doesn't murder Sam." I said to Layla and had my backpack chasing down Kara as she had tackled Sam and punched him. "Kara get off him." I said. I looked at Sam. "And you got beat up by a girl." I said to him laughing.
