"...."

"...."

"... What?"

"Whaaat???"

Peach smiled, trying to be smug but failing. Roy felt anger in him rise just a little bit.

"No, no, Peach. Say it."

"Ah??? Say what?"

"What's going on over there?" Daisy called from the other side of the room.

"NOTHING!" Both Roy and Peach yelled as they glared at each other.

"Go on, Peach." Roy said through gritted teeth.

"Did I stutter?"

"You. little—"

~ HOURS EARLIER ~~

"This house is so god damn beautiful I want to cry..." Marth muttered as he took a bite of the leftovers from last night.

"Shut up Marth..." the figure laying down on the couch whined.

"Zelda, you shut up, please."

Zelda just whined.

Marth felt even more ticked off, so he went to the couch and stood in front of her, both oh his hands resting on his hips.

"Listen, I'm not going to let you make a big deal out of last night. Besides, you guys barely even said anything to each other."

"That's the point!"

"All exes are like that... well most... besides, I'm not gonna let you be all mopey in Hawaii. Not on my vacation, honey."

Zelda was about to groan before deciding not to, figuring that Marth would drag her out into the ocean if she did that. Instead, she slowly got up from the couch, walking over to the kitchen to get a drink.

"There's gonna be a little beach festivity in a couple of hours, remember to get ready for that."

Zelda nodded as she saw Marth leave the room from the corner of her eye. When he left, she went back to venting.

I can't even say hi to him? How sad... for me, of course.

Gods, not even one word out of my mouth.

This sucks.

This really sucks.

This really-

"Zelda!"

The girl turned behind her to see Robin. He wore a short-sleeved purple shirt and regular cargo pants.

"Did you wanna come with me to get a few snacks for the beach event? Shulk's busy right now and I have no one to go with."

"Sure! Lemme get my shoes."

After getting ready, the two left the house to be greeted by the cool, fresh breeze, and with the site of tall, green, palm trees swaying with the wind. The car was parked on the side of the perfect, black cement road.

They climbed in, buckled up, and started the car.

"So what was Shulk doing? He always seems so eager to go with you when you shop."

"Ehh, he was sleeping. He stayed up really late last night so I guess I should give him some time."

"How'd you know he slept late."

"Cuz he was sending me all his little Instagram edits up until 4 AM..."

"Cute..."

"That's a bit gay, I know."
