I'll Always Find You Again (Noctis x Prompto)

Best Friends

It has been a kind of routine for the duo to always by each other side, right about now. Everyone always realized that the duo was inseparable. Whenever the Raven was the Blonde won't be too far from him. It has been a few weeks since Prompto entered his school and he never imagined actually enjoying being at school this much. After spending every day together, others would though the two of them would be bored with each other, that wasn't the case.

It's not like they always talk to each other sometimes they didn't do anything instead just being each other side. It was enough to feel the presence of each other to feel at ease. They didn't need to always try to comfort each other or to be the one who had anything to say each other. Just playing games together on their phone was enough or maybe a little nap with each other leaning again each other was bliss on their own.

It was peaceful being like this. Until one day when Prompto was being called by his classmate. With his cheerful attitude, many of the other classmates would hang around Prompto though he would prefer to be with Noctis if he saw him came into class. Noctis knew that Prompto wasn't like him, he should have more friends but the thought of Prompto being with someone else other than him didn't feel right. It felt wrong and he didn't want that. So as long as he didn't bring it up, he'll just keep it in his mind.

"Prompto, come here for a sec"

"Huh"

In was lunch break, he was at his usual spot which was in front of Noctis. Playing the knight game with his favorite Raven. He looked up to see a bunch of boys calling out to him. He wondered what they wanted, the blonde was about to refuse when the Raven spoke.

"Go to them"

"Huh..."

Prompto was surprised Noctis would suggest that. Usually, he wouldn't say anything and somehow he knew that the Raven would like it if he refused. But this time he said that he should go to them, maybe it was important. With that in mind, the Blonde stood up.

"Okay! I'll come back soon before the bell ring"

"Yeah sure"

Even though he didn't want to sound a little bit disappointed but he couldn't hide it. This time Prompto felt a little bit guilty.

"Noct I-"

"Hurry up, Prompto"

"O-Okay"

Still reluctant but he went to them in the end. Seeing that the blonde isn't in front of him, he felt bored and decided to go out of class. Maybe to the courtyard. He didn't know where they went but maybe they asked Prompto to eat with them in the cafeteria. Passing the corridor hearing people whispering as he walked passed them by, the usual occurrence. As he was about to reach the courtyard, he could hear people talking beside the school building. He wondered who would be there.

Quietly he peeked through the bushes, there he could see Prompto being surrounded by the boys who called him before. Somehow Noctis doesn't like where this was going, but he didn't want to suddenly appear. Maybe I should call the teacher. He was about to go when he heard...

"Can you stop being all buddy-buddy with Noctis, we all his friend but we never hog him to ourselves"

Friends? Since when are they, my friends...

"Yeah, I mean it's not like you actually like him"

Noctis clenched his chests. It kinda hurt to hear them say it like but he knew that it was the sad cold truth.

"He's rich anyone would want to be his friends"

"I bet his house is full of games, I would like to play them too"
