"What's that?"

Right before Prompto had a chance to run off, Gladio managed to pick him up.

"And where do you think you are going?"

He thought Cor was a little bit exaggerating about the blonde running off, the moment he wants too. But after being with the blonde for a couple of minutes once they arrived at the campsite, he was having a hard time looking out for the little blonde. With him carrying the tent supplies as well as Ignis's cooking utensils. He was supposed to have his hand full but instead, this little blonde wouldn't stop trying to run off somewhere.

Ignis managed to help with carrying their supplies, but to make sure that Noctis didn't get left behind he held his hand while carrying the supplies. Gladio knew that he can't count his glasses friend to help him, he was the only one with a free hand to keep Prompto out of trouble. Gladio let out a sigh before picking up the blonde and placed him on his shoulder.

"Waah"

The blonde was surprised. But he was even more excited this way. He hardly ever sat on his dad's shoulder so having Gladio done it made him happy.

"How's the view?"

"It's great, you are so Tall, Gladio"

"Glad you like it, stay there till we get to the campsite"

"Okay"

No complaint there. Prompto was completely over excited and enjoying the moment can't say the same time for the little Raven. After walking up the path toward their campsite, Noctis can't help but feel a little tired. He had never walked this far before though it wasn't like he was exhausted, he was just a little tired and sort of bored. The path they walked didn't really let them see much. It was practically bushes and trees, not the sight he was hoping to see. He wasn't as excitable as Prompto that's for sure.

"Ignis, is it still further away?"

The little Raven asked.

"No, just a couple more steps then we will arrive shortly"

"Okay then..."

"Are you tired, Noctis?"

"No! Of course not"

Noctis felt a little embarrassed admitting that he was a little tired from just walking this much. He didn't want to look weak. Ignis seemed to sense this and decided to drop the subject altogether. This was certainly the first time they had to walk this much, so he won't blame little Noctis to say that he was tired. They were being dropped by the nearest spot from the campsite. They didn't want to bring a car with them because they didn't want to attract attention.

If anyone saw their limousine parked somewhere near a campsite, who knows how many would gather to ambush them. That's why they will do it discreetly. The driver dropped them off somewhere close to the campsite by the road. Actually, it wasn't so close but at least it won't take an hour on foot, so it was okay. Or supposed to be okay, but maybe it was a little bit too much for little Noctis.

"Please be patient, we will arrive at our destination soon, Noctis"

"Yeah, sure"

Acting a little stubborn with his feeling. Ignis only chuckled a bit. He never knew little Noctis had this kind of side to him. It was nice to see a little change in his little Raven master. Not having him to just be nonchalant about things or aloof. His attitude wasn't because he wanted to but it was built so he could survive in his world. He would like Noctis to actually feel what he supposed to feel according to his age but it was impossible for him. Not with his kind of life anyway. That's why doing something like this and having him act accordingly to his age was a little bit refreshing.
