Camping (part 1)

"And why is he sulking so much"

CLANG... CLANG... Both Gladio and Noctis had wooden swords in their hands. It was one of their training regimes after school now. Though they should learn martial art instead of swordplay somehow Noctis prefer swordplay. It's like his body was more accustomed to it. Not like Gladio would complain. He liked any kind of combat style and techniques so no arguing with his little sleeping beauty.

While still swinging their swords at each other, both of them had a friendly conversation. As if it was natural to do so.

"He wants to go to the field trip"

"And..."

CLANG... CLANG...

"I can't go, right... So I- HYAAHHH"

Noctis launched himself upward and was swinging his wooden sword at Gladio but swiftly he blocked it and threw little Noctis away. Landing on the ground roughly, Noctis growled.

"Hey! You said you are going to hold back"

"I did"

A huge smirk plastered on Gladio's face as he helped Noctis up. The Raven dusted his pants and jackets.

"Yeah right"

"Let's stop for today"

"Hmm..."

"So..."

Gladio looked at his little sleeping beauty.

"He began whining after that, he said that he wanted to go to the trip with me. Then I told him that if he wants to go so much then he should go without me. And that is the result"

He pointed at the Blonde crouched up in the corner of the training room. Not wanting to talk or even say anything to him anymore. He had done his target practice with Ignis while they were sparring. With his quick reflex and good eyes, he was able to aim at any position he was. A very talented gunman. Once he was done with his shooting practice, Ignis when to the kitchen to fetch some snacks for the four of them.

After a while, the door of the training room opened.

"I have brought some snacks"

Ignis entered the room with a silver tray of cookies and tea.

"Iggy~~"

He cooed. Even though the blonde didn't want to talk to the Raven he was fairly okay with anyone else. Ignis has warmed up to him and felt quite an attachment to the blonde. He put the tray down on a table and pet the blonde head gently.

"Here you go"

Handing him some cookies and a cup of tea.

"Thank you, Iggy"

The blonde has completely taken his heart. He had cared for the grumpy little Raven so much that seeing Prompto sunshine like smile was actually refreshing. That's why he doesn't mind spoiling him too much. Also, one other reason he liked spoiling the little blonde was to tease little Noctis seeing him so jealous was nice as well. Which what Noctis is currently doing.

"Since when are those two so close?"

"Well, Ignis had already warmed up to your little friend. Seeing your grumpy face all time, your little friend sunshine like smile looked refreshing even for me"

Gladio laughed. He too liked to tease his little sleeping beauty.

"Now let's eat some before Ignis decided to give it all to your little friend"

"Yeah"

They had snacks together but the atmosphere was a little bit awkward. Because Prompto continued to give Noctis the silent treatment while pouting at him. Both Ignis and Gladio couldn't hold back their chuckles upon the scene in front of them. Noctis starting to feel sad being ignored like this. Even though it's common for anyone to not want to talk to him but having Prompto like this gets to him.
