Camping Part 4

"We should hurry back to camp, it's already noon and the sky is a little bit cloudy as well"

"That's right, it was hot as hell a moment ago. Guess the weather here changes quickly. We better head back now, before it gets wet"

The two young boys nodded together and off they went back to their camping site. And just like what Gladio said it soon rained. It was a downpour. Good thing everyone was already snuggling inside the tent together.

"The rain doesn't look like it will light up soon, what do you boys what do to while we wait for the rain to settle down"

The young boys looked at each other not really knowing what they should do at this point. The whole camping thing should be outside playing in the outdoors but if it rained then what should they do.

"Good thing I brought this with me"

Gladio was looking through his bag and took a playing card.

"How' bout we play some cards"

"But I don't know how"

"Me too, I never play with cards before"

Ignis sat down next to Noctis and gently patted his head.

"Don't worry we will teach you how, you just have to pay close attention. It is not hard to learn a few games"

"Okay"

"That's settle's it then, we should play an easy game first. We can play go fish then if you guys want to we can teach you guys Poker"

"Gladio!"

Ignis reprimanded that they are still children. And he shouldn't teach them anything unnecessary.

"But its fun and we aren't teaching them betting their money. We are just teaching them how to play games. How is that wrong?"

Letting out a small sigh, it's not like he'll argue about this. So he shrugged it off. And just like that, they spent the whole afternoon inside their tent playing card games. First Gladio thought them how to play go fish, Prompto managed to win a lot while playing this. Second, they played old maid which Gladio turn to get a winning streak. With the rain still pouring they continued to play another game this time they played memories game and of course Ignis was the winner of this game. He could remember any cards with just a glance it was almost cheating.

But instead of feeling offended everyone was enjoying to try to outwit him which of course not happening. But the young boys didn't give up so easily. Though soon the both of them knew that they weren't going to ever beat Ignis so they just gave up. After playing so much, time managed to fly by fast. It was already noon near evening, the rain was slowly starting to light up. But it was still pretty wet outside.

"Okay, then just one more then. This time I'll teach you how to play Poker. You two better remember the rules. It's pretty hard"

"We can do it, Gladio"

"Yeah! Yeah! Teach us Gladdy"

"Alright then"

This time Gladio was teaching them seriously, though it took them a few moments to really grasp the rules. After trying it out they learn it pretty well. And this guess who was the one who always wins?

"Royal Flush"

"What the! There's no way you can get a royal flush! That's like impossible"

"But I got them, see here"

It was true, in Noctis hands were the rarest arrangement of cards. Though it was possible to get it, it was near impossible.

"Maybe it's beginner luck, let's play again"
