A forbidden crush is when you have a crush on someone you aren't meant to like, this could be because they are your friend's partner, sister's partner, brother's partner etc.
Okay, I'm going to be honest I have had a forbidden crush before. But I'm pretty sure everyone has had at least a tiny one before. But sometimes forbidden crushes can be hard to overcome and they can lead to screwed up relationships. It's because everyone wants what they can't have, Jace Lightwood is proof of that.
So do you have a forbidden crush? Do you suddenly feel fireworks whenever your friend's boyfriend smiles?
If you do, we have a problem...
But never fear the following simple steps can help you get back in track with your life.
1. Ask yourself if you truly like this person or if you are just looking for drama. Trust me.... been there done that.
2. Try your best to follow the girl code or if you are a guy follow whatever guys do.
3. Ask yourself, is this person worth losing your friend or relation?
4. Focus on schoolwork and education. Because no matter what you lose in life: your house, your money or even your love. As long as you have your education you will always find yourself.
5. Try diverting your attention to other boys or girls.
6. This is the last resort. So ONLY do this as a last resort. If after the doing the above steps and you still like the person, it's time to talk to your friend or relation about the issue.
The last step may lead to the death of a friendship. But if your friendship still lasts through all the love trouble then that means you have a strong friendship worth more than any guy or girl.
