Chapter 16

Y/N and the boys quickly stumbled out of the store and ran to the boy and Richie. Eddie and Stan leaned down and started cleaning up the boy's cut while Bill was staring off down the street at something.

Y/N decided to see what Bill was looking at and soon saw that he was staring in deep infatuation at Bev. Y/N felt a tinge of jealousy and looked away in anger.

Richie saw Y/N's face and decided to comfort her.

"Hey Y/N, are you good?" Richie asks snapping Y/N out of her frustration.

"Oh yeah I'm fine just a bit off today I guess." She says obviously lying.

"Oh ok." Richie says and turns back to Eddie.

Soon enough Bill brings Beverly over and they start to chat away with the rest of the group and Y/N soon discover that the injured boys name is Ben.

After talking for a bit Bev leaves but not before Bill invites her to the quarry with them tommorow which makes Y/N even more angry.

"Well guys me and and spaghetti hair over here have to leave", Eddie says signalling to him and Stan. Eddie turns back to Ben and says, "Make sure you treat that wound well, we dont won't you dying from an infection."

Y/N rolls her eyes at Eddie's over protective remark and says, "Don't let this germaphobe scare you, believe me you won't die."

"Hey I'm not a germaphobe! I'm just cautious that's all!" Eddie replies back.

"Ok keep telling yourself that wheezy." Richie says while everyone laughs.

"Ok, well by guys!" Stan says and waves at the group while him and Eddie ride off.

Soon enough Ben leaves and Y/N walks home not wanting to concern her mom which leaves the only 2 boys left, Richie and Bill, who decide to ride with each other home.

They ride in silence for a bit before Richie decides to break it by asking about the situation with Bill and Bev.

"So Big Bill, it looks like you got the hots for Bev." Richie remarks.

"O-oh I don't know, s-s-she sweet and pretty but...." Bill says trailing off.

"But?" Richie questions.

"I d-don't know R-Rich, maybe I-I like someone else." Bill says.

Richie already knew who it was without Bill having to telling him.

"Its Y/N, isn't it?" Richis asks with sadness in his voice.

"R-Richie you can't tell anyone!" Bill pleads. "I d-d-don't want to b-break up the group like w-we almost d-d-did."

Richie was so mad amd wanted to do anything to get back at Bill but he saw the hurt in Bill eyes.

"Fine, I wont tell anyone I promise." Richie says.

"T-thanks trashmouth." Bill says before pulling into his driveway leaving Richie alone.

You can like her but it doesn't mean you can have her. Richie thinks as he angrily rides off.
