I'm the type of person that you look at and think "she has a story." I like to think I'm good at hiding my emotions, but in reality, it all shows. Whether it's through my body language, my eyes, what I draw, or what I write, it shows and if people look at it hard enough and think about it hard enough then they'll understand what I'm feeling. I'm never used to talking about myself or my emotions so whenever it comes to that topic I always shut down. However, I want to change that, and sharing my writing is a way how I am.

freckles aligning like constellations,
a smile that cannot and will not falter.
I just love this idea of a person sure pure that their eyes aren't clouded from the difficulties of life, that they aren't afraid of smiling at their obstacles, and that they aren't afraid to show who they are, but more so embraces it.
it's air that smells like home,
everyone knows what it is,
yet it's so different for everyone.
As people say, home is where the person/people you love is. So naturally, it'll be different for everyone. However, whenever someone says "Think of home," or "What's home to you," everyone thinks of the same kind of topic, the things, places, and people you love.
to one person it can be cinnamon on a cold winter day,
to another it can be the strawberry shampoo she uses,
the smell of freshly washed linen mixing beautifully with it.
A lot of people associate smells with memories, me being one of them myself.
