Today is Friday and I’m waiting for Yana because she has some good news for me. Although I told her to just spill it out over the phone she just hung up on me. And because I still need her,  I’m patiently waiting here to hear the” juicy news” according to her.

He said he’ll call me from time to time.

“Guess who’s this, girlfriend.” Yana said playfully while covering my eyes with her hands.

The answer is too obvious, anong klase bang utak ang meron siya? Imitation? Class B?

“Spiderman?” I said deadpanned.

She gigled.  “No! Try harder.” Aba, kagat na kagat naman siya.

“Jack Sparrow?”

“Who’s  that?” She asked. Is she for real? Baka naman hindi pa niya napapanood ang legend of all legends na Pirates of Caribbean.

“Johnny Depp?” Paalala ko sa kanya.

“Huh? Will you please speak Tagalog or English?”

“That’s a name and not a language, you idiot. Paano kasi puro Hannah Montanga lagi pinapanood mo.” I faced her and she just looked at me like I grew a second head. “Oh forget it.” I waved at her dismissively.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about girl, I’m just asking you my name. Tsk! I need to buy her a new brain, ‘yung original at hindi ‘yung galing sa bangketa. “And it’s Hannah Montana, not Montanga.” Pahabol niyang sabi.

“Enough of this nonsense Georgie. So, I did some research and I’ve got the info about that nerdy boy.” She said.

I grabbed the papers from her and saw his face like the one we usually see in a resume.

 “What’s this?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes like she was being exorcised. “That’s his resume, applying to be you tutor because you seem to be lacking of brain cells from being absent in school for how many days.” She said as I raised my middle finger at her. She just rolled her eyes.

“Way to go for being sarcastic bitch.” I spatted.

She flipped her hair. “You were the one who taught me the I-won’t-give-sarcastic-answer-if-you-don’t-ask-stupid-questions. Right?” She said while putting her hands in her hips like a mother scolding her child.

I sighed. “Let me rephrase it. Where did you get this?”

She wiggled her eyebrows. “I have connections.” She bragged. “Feel free to read it if you want.” She added and sat down on the bench.

I started reading it. “So the bastard’s name is Mitchel Andrada. Sounds so gay to me.” I said criticizing his name.

I slapped her arm and she winced.
