"Oh hey Evan!"Zoe said,I squeaked.she looked at me confused,"S-So-Sorry,y-yo-you j-just,um,c-ca-can't sneak up on me-me like that."i said."no problem."she said.she was acting a bit,suspicious."I-I'm go-gonna go now..."I mumbled,I was about to walk away but she grabbed my wrist."I'm only trying to protect you!my brother is a freak!a monster!"she yelled,"L-Let g-go!i-it hurts!"i said.but she just held on tighter,all the colors became distorted.i couldn't breath,I heard a slap noise.i collapsed to the ground,sobbing."Shhh,shhh,I got you baby."I heard Connor say,I breathed normally.i looked at him,I cried even more.he held up my wrist,he got mad."You...You hurt him?!"he yelled at Zoe,I hid behind him.
"I-I didn't mean to!"she said,"BULLSHIT!"he yelled.the colors became distorted again,I held his hand."C-Co-Con-Connor please!S-Sh-She's n-no-not worth it-it."I begged,he looked at me.all the colors were normal again,"This isn't over."he growled at her.he stormed away,I followed him."W-Wh-Where are we-we g-go-going?"I asked,"Skipping,I'm wrapping your wrist."he quickly replied.i could tell he was still mad,so I held his hand and kissed his cheek.he looked at me,and sighed.he smiled,"You always know what to do."he said.i smiled as he kissed my cheek,"I-I l-love you."i said."I love you too Ev."i said,we snuck out of the school and went to his house.
