Evan's pov
"Ok Evan I think Connor has officially turned into every dad ever."Jared said,he and Alana were visiting us.Connor was recording Basil laughing,Connor found out how to make him laugh.he quoted a vine,that I don't know,making Basil laugh."I think this is cute!"Alana exclaimed,"Oh Evan!by the way,I got the book you wanted."she said."S-Show me."i said,she grabbed the book from her purse.she turned to a specific page,she gasped."W-What?W-What is it?"I asked worryingly,"Bas...can't see color,not until he finds his soulmate."she confessed.Connor turned off the camera,"What?"he said.Alana pointed at the page,"newborns or toddlers won't see color until they're a teenager or an adult."she quoted from the book."O-Oh my god..."I whispered,Connor held Basil.
"Well,what can we do?i mean,how are we even supposed to react to this?"Connor asked,Alana flipped to the next page."The book says he could possibly most likely find it at a young age,I'd say...when he's starting school."Jared quoted from the book,"Well then we'll send him to kindergarten."Connor said."I-I'll make a schedule!"I exclaimed,I ran to the kitchen.
Later that night...
Connor's pov
I was reading the book Alana got Evan.I couldn't believe all these things:"When you're born you have grey eyes,and you see everything as grey until you've met your soulmate.If they truly aren't your soulmate you'll still see color but you'll still see grey,and if they die...then you die too."I closed the book."O-Ok I f-finished the schedule!"Evan said,climbing into bed.i looked at it:
Baz's schedule
•Connor goes to work
•drop him off to Oak Shore elementary school
•go to gardening club
•get groceries(Incase we don't have any)
•I pick up Baz
Monday,Tuesday:Evan picks up Basil
Wednesday,Thursday,Friday:Connor picks up Sprout(Basil)
