I sat on the edge of the bed nibbling on my nails.
I looked down at my phone, checking my period calender. I was late...
I glanced at my belly and raisrd an eyebrow.
I couldn't be pregnant, could I?
The more I thought about it, the more I worried.
What would my fans think? What would my parents say? What would the media do? What would happen with my career? How would Wilmer react? What would I do?
Questions, questions, questions. That's all what I had in my mind right then. I was confused. Scared. Worried.
My hand reached for my phone and I immediately called Wilmer.
"Hello?"
"Wilmer, baby, it's me" I quickly said.
"Hey, nena, what's up?" How's tour going?"
I took a deep breath.
"Tour is great" I replied.
"I'm glad to hear that"
"Okay, Wilmer, don't freak out but... I might be pregnant"
Silence.
"Wilmer, for God's sake, say something"
"Nena... I... That's amazing"
"It's not sure... My period is just late and I'm really worried"
He sighed.
"Buy a pregnancy test, babe. And stop worrying, please. If you're pregnant, that will be great news and if you aren't, it'll mean that it isn't the right time yet, okay?"
"Okay..." I mumbled while nodding my head.
"Baby, I feel like you're still worried. Would you please stop?"
"I can't. What if I am actually pregnant?'
"We are together in this, hermosa. It'll be okay."
"What about my career?" I asked.
"You will have to take a break and then you'll come back. You're very talented, your career isn't gonna dissappear"
Another sigh was taken by me.
"Okay, babe."
"I love you"
"I love you too. I'll call you later" I ended the phone call and grabbed my purse, ready to go buy a test.
With the test in my hands, I walked into the bathroom.
Negative.
I let out a sigh of relief.
Don't take me wrong. It's not that I didn't want to be a mommy but... I didn't think it was the right moment yet.
Having a baby with Wilmer is my dream... But I know I have to wait.
