"Madam Christa, please calm down!"

"Let go of me! I have to kill him! He's filthy! He's just like Karlheinz!"

(Y/N) held Christa's wrists in her hands as the white haired woman continued to struggle. She held a silver knife in one of her hands which she planned to use on her son. A few moments ago Subaru had gone to see how his mother was doing only for her to snap at him and try to kill him. (Y/N) had made sure to intervene before Subaru could get hurt. While (Y/N) restrained Christa, Subaru sat on the floor, watching the scene in horror. Christa pulled her self from (Y/N)'s grasp and took a few steps back. She glared at the maid and lunged at her. She plunged her knife into (Y/N), piercing her heart. (Y/N)'s eyes widened at the sudden attack. She raised her left leg up and kicked the other woman's stomach, sending her crashing into a wall.

(Y/N) let out a cough of blood as she took the sharp object out of her chest. She grit her teeth and hissed in pain. Blood spurt out from the wound in her chest. The intoxicating, oriental, scent of her blood filled both Christa's and Subaru's senses. 'How annoying...' She thought before turning around and heading to the door. A she ran out the tower she had managed to take a hold of Subaru's arm and drag him out with her. When they exited the tower and got a distance away from it, (Y/N) fell to her knees as she released a string of coughs. Subaru looked at her with worry as he stood in front of her and felt tears build up in his eyes. (Y/N) covered her wound with one hand while the other covered her mouth.

"(Y/N)-chan... You're hurt... Because of me... I'm so sorry! Please don't die!" (Y/N) giggled through her coughs and raised her head to look at the boy. She lowered her hand to show him the soft smile that formed on her lips. "Don't worry... Something as small as this... Won't kill me..." Tears streamed down the boys face as he looked the woman. His crying turned to sobbing when he felt his thirst for blood continued to grow. And seeing it spilled on the floor and on her, only made him want to drink it even more. How could he think such a thing now? He is the reason that his rose is injured and in pain. Subaru calmed down his sobs before taking a step forward to her. (Y/N) glared at him as she saw him get closer to her. She knew that look on his face meant. She could see past his tears and see his thirst for blood.

(Y/N) sighed and stood back up. The hand that was once covering her mouth, she held it out to him as gentle smile formed on her lips. "Here. Allow me to take you to your room." Subaru looked at her with wide eyes and shook his head. He couldn't do that. He had no right to consume her blood. But one little bite wouldn't hurt, right? Just a small taste would be enough to satisfy him, right? Subaru reached out to take (Y/N)'s hand, with his own, shaking with fear, and eagerly lapped up the blood that covered her hand. (Y/N) watched him with a blank look. She couldn't help but feel pity and slight disgust towards the boy. Subaru stopped his actions when he had licked off all the blood from her palm. He let her go and looked down in shame from what he had just done.

"I'm sorry... So sorry..." Tears began to fall from his face once more from his bright red eyes. He used his hands to wipe them away. He flinched when he felt something hold his wrists. (Y/N) crouched down to stop him and try to calm him down. "There's no need to apologize. I caused myself to get injured. And it was wrong of me to give you my hand when it was stained." (Y/N) wiped away any remaining tear marks and caressed the boy's cheeks. "Besides, I'm all better. Look! See there's no stab wound!" She said as she smiled at the boy as she grazed the place on her chest where a cut once lied. Subaru became surprised. How could such a fatal wound suddenly disappear? "(Y-Y/N)-chan... Is okay...?" The (H/C) haired woman nodded as she stood back up, still holding the boy's hands.
