· CHAPTER FOURTEEN ·

*THE NEXT DAY*

The next day came by. Same morning routine everyday. Waking up, Changing clothes into uniform, putting on my socks , going to the bathroom and brushing my teeth, going downstairs to make some food and putting on my shoes and heading out. I arrived to school and see Vy with a tall rich-looking man with glassess. "Look daddy, that's her!" Vy says pointing at me. "She's the one who called me a small-ear!" He looked mad but that didn't bother me. He walks towards me with Vy. "Excuse me young lady, did you call my daughter a small ear?" he says polity. "Well yes I did. I did call your daughter a small ear for calling me a weirdo." I said to him. "Is that true Vy?" he looks at Vy. Vy shakes her head "No." He looks back at me, "May I get your name? I'll tell your parents about this." Vy smiles evil. "Okay then if you say so. I'm Altheda Aikyo." I say. "A-Aikyo? Oh! Is your mother named Aliyah Aikyo?" he asks ever so happily. I nodd in confusion. He laughs. "Wow, I finally got to meet the daughter of the Aikyo family! I know your mother very so well!" He knows my mom? "Your mother was such a beautiful woman back then!" he says while complementing her. I nodd and walk away. "DADDY! I thought you said you were gonna beat her apple-bum upp!" Vy says pointing at me. "Sorry princess, Daddy can't do that to Mrs. Aikyo. Daddy will get in trouble." he says with his shoulders up at Vy. "Hmph!" Vy says walking away stomping. I wave laughing. I walk into the school building putting away my shoes and putting on my school shoes. I suddenly see Ketak and run to him. "Hey!" I say smiling as bright. He smiles too. "Hey." he responds back. We chat ever so happily together until we go to class. This time, it was English class. Sadly, Ketak and I seats weren't close to each other. I was in the back row while Ketak was in the front row. Being with other people I'm not used to being with makes me feel awkward and lonely.
