· CHAPTER NINETEEN ·
The next day of school arrived!
I did my normal usual morning routine and went downstairs ate breakfast then got outside while putting my shoes. As I got to school, I saw Ketak by the gates waving at me with a smile. I smiled as well thinking about what happened yesterday and how he's my boyfriend! I walked towards him with a happy smile. We went inside the school and put away our shoes and grabbed our usual normal school shoes and went to class. Sadly, me and Ketak weren't in the same class so I sat alone so lonely so miserable. I put my head down onto my desk. I peeked a little bit looking at the window. The teacher didn't really care about anyone talking or eating so no one really listened to her. After she was done teaching, the bell rang. Everyone got up to go to take a break I guess you would call it for 30 minutes. I got up last and saw Ketak by the classroom door. Ketak noticed me and waved while drinking the juice from the vending machine.
"Where's my juice?" I asked so pleasantly.
"Oh uhh I didn't get you one?" He said putting his arm behind his back.
I didn't so whatever asked why. I silently walked away and heard someone catching up to me.
" Altheda! I'm just kidding! I got you juice too!" Ketak said rushing to me out of breathe.
"Your not a good runner are you?" I said with a laugh.
He breathed very hardly from running and wiped off his sweat giving the juice to me. I grabbed it and drank it. Grape juice I tasted. Soon after that, break was over and it was time to go to class.
FEW HOURS LATER
School was over. Ketak and I walked out while changing our shoes. Ketak suddenly stopped walking.
"Is something wrong?" I asked with a worried expression.
"No..I actually have been wanting to ask you for a while..Do you want to go to McQuackies?" He asked.
"He could've asked me out on a date at like the movie theater's or something but..McQuackies?!" I thought to myself.
"..Sure I guess but why so?" I asked.
"There's a couple edition menu!" He said with excitement.
"Oh..I guess I'm hungry but..McQuackies has a lot of customised ducks there and I don't like ducks.." I said with a low expression.
"Oh.." Ketak said.
"Well..it's fine, I'll try not to take it as weird!" I said.
Ketak nodded.
