I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was him. Right there. Dayquan looking right at me.

"Tiarah we need you to come to" Smiley said dragging me away from the party.

"No..no I can't" I told him.

"Bruh yes you is" Caesar said grabbing my other arm.

"Devin.. what about Devin" I ask Caesar

"DEVIN!!! Come here" Smiley yelled. Devin look up with a face full of birthday cake. He wiped his hand on the edge of the tablecloth and ran over to us. He hugged my feet and I picked him up. We all walked outside. Caesar stop walking and turn to Dayquan. He pulled out some ropes.

"Come on man that ain't necessary" Dayquan said.

"I can shoot you nigga" Caesar told him

"Not to tight nigga" Dayquan said and letting Cawesar tie his hands behind his back. He wince at how tight the ropes were. Caesar, Smiley, and Dayquan pile in BeBe car.

"Does BeBe know you taking her car" I asked.

"She'll be aight" Smiley said.

I buckled Devin in and followed Beatrice car.I didn't want to see Dayquan. I didn't want Devin to meet him. He miss four years of his son life. He missed everything. He broke my heart. He left me alone. But thats okay because of him I am the stronger woman I am now.

We arrived at a abandon warehouse. I got out and got Devin. Smiley turn the lights on and it look real decent. There was furnisher and a kitchen with food.

"Aight you two got 20 minutes to 'talk' and then me and this dipshit gotta talk" Caear said pointing to Dayquan.

"Can you release me nigga" he ask.

"No" Caesar said. Smiley whispered something in Caesar's ear and pointed at Devin who sat on the couch watching TV. CCaesar nodded and cut the ropes off.

"There's a room to the left. Y'all can talk there. One mistake Dayquan and you a dead man" Smiley said.

"Devin come on" I said. He followed me and Dayquan to the room. There was a table and chairs in the room. I went over and sat down. Devin sat next to me. Dayquan was looking at Devin. They were a splitting image and that made me sick. He sat down on the otherside of me.

"What do you want?" I ask sounding mad.

"Don't be mad at me. I left for a reason. I didn't mean to, but I had to. For hissake I had to" He said pointing at Devin.

"Lies" I said "You never wanted a child. You left so you wouldn't have to worry about the responsibility of the child" I cried. I didn't mean to cry but that shit was built up in my heart.

"That ain't true Tia. When I went to Vegas for Caesar wedding, I went to get away from Wilmont gang and shit. When I heard that Giovanni was plotting on killing Caesar I didn't want to be a part of that. When I got to Vegas first person I saw was Giovanni. I was gonna tell Caesar what I know but then Giovanni pulled me to the side and told me if I said one word. He was gonna kill me and your expecting girlfriend. Obvisously he ment you. I couldn't let that happen. Then Caeaar and Smiley wreck us and killed everyone. I ran. I knew if they saw me they would shoot me on the spot. I went to my mama's for awhile then she told me I needed to go and be man to see my child. I had to wait til shit die down. Tiarah I wouldn't leave you high and dry like that. I ain't that heartless. Even tho we be having our differences you still dont deserve that shit. You know I love you" he said. H picked up Devin and smiled. "Yo he look just like me. Aye my boy finna be stuntin. Hey lil man" he said to Devin
