GEORGINA POV:
I'm once again sitting opposite everyone, on the comfy seats. The man who I only saw for a few minutes yesterday, walks into the room and sits with them "What have you found out from the tests?" The one who Natasha had told me is called Bruce, the one who has been checking my wounds, replies "We didn't run any tests. With permission, I took a bit of blood, which Tony and I are going to check over, but I haven't done anything else." "Why not?" "She's not an unintelligent animal that doesn't have emotions, she's the exact opposite." As the new man looks at me with his one eye, I sit up a little straighter "Then why did you call me here?" "For that exact reason, she's smart. Try asking her something." He looks at me like I'm stupid.

Don't growl at him. Don't growl at him.

"Do you work for HYDRA?" Natasha told me HYDRA is the name of the people who shot me, the people who I've always been with, the only people I had even known before meeting these people. I bark twice and Natasha explains "One bark for yes, two barks for no." "Have you ever worked for HYDRA?"

Worked for them? What do they even do? Well, I've never done anything they've wanted, so that's a no.

I bark twice "Have you killed before?" I bark once "Who did you kill?" I'm not sure how to respond, Natasha speaks "Was it HYDRA?" I bark once, he then explains to the man "When we were heading towards the base she was running away from it, she looked scared and ran from us too. It seems like she'd escaped them and when we attacked the base there were already loads of dead bodies. Georgina, did you escape?" "Georgina?" I ignore the one-eyed man as I let out my loudest singular bark yet, a strange noise comes out of some of the people. This man seems to know which questions to ask, ones I'm able to answer. When we're finally done, he leaves and multiple people leave the room.

The people who are still in the room, look to something on the wall. All of a sudden it springs to life and I jump out of my fur, I try to ignore the sudden pain in my side. I carefully get down from the comfy seat and stalk towards what looks to be an animal, we make eye contact and I growl, everyone makes the strange noise again "Georgina, come here!" I look round to the room where Natasha and some others had disappeared to, I walk over. She holds the door open for me and I walk in. I can smell something wonderful, I'm offered something squared and flimsy.

They're feeding me again? I've already been fed today.

Natasha and I look at each other "You don't want it?" I stare at it, not believing that it's really mine, she pushes it closer to my face "Eat. Bruce said you're underweight, so get eating." When she drops it onto my snout, I accept it and start eating. The rest of the day is very quiet, I spend most of it just laying down and resting. When they offer me food for the third time today, I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming. After being persuaded into eating something again, Bruce wants another look at my wound, when he does so he's surprised, saying I'm almost completely healed already.

I've been living at the tower with the nice people now for about 2 weeks and life is great. Nothing bad has happened, I'm the happiest I ever remember being. Unfortunately, they haven't managed to figure much out about me, they don't really know why HYDRA had me or how they got me. I don't remember all of my life, I remember lots of tests being done on me, but I don't know how long I'm missing.

The team are currently talking about me, they'd been to a HYDRA base today, they'd taken it down and were trying to find information on me, failing again. I sit, looking down at my paws the whole time, listening, but not really. Bruce, who's sitting beside me, leans down so his head is close to mine. Bruce and Natasha are the people I've become closest to during my time here, but Bruce spends more time with me, Natasha trains most of the time. He whispers to me "Are you alright, Georgina?" I bow my head "This is probably bringing back bad memories, but just focus on us, we're here for you now. You're not alone." I nudge the side of my face against his cheek and his lips curve up.
