NATASHA POV:
Still on my knees, I push myself back up straight "You're not mad at me?" She gently headbutts me again "Are we friends now? Is that what this is?" Her head tilts to the side, as she properly sits down. I sit down on the floor in front of her, looking up at her "I'm Natasha, by the way. Do you have a name? Did they call you anything?" She barks twice. No name. I might name her.
I slowly stand up "I'm gonna get some breakfast, wait here. I'll be back." I head to the kitchen and decide to do eggs on toast and bacon for my new friend, once I'm done I head over to her. I laugh at her as her nose goes crazy, I sit beside her on the couch, with the plate on my lap "You want some bacon?" She tilts her head "Seriously? You don't know what bacon is? Well, you're in for a treat... Georgina. I'm gonna call you Georgina, you like that name?" She barks "Then it's settled. Welcome to the pack, Georgina. Here, have some bacon." I hold a piece of bacon out to her and she just stares at it, her eyes crossing over.
Am I gonna have to show her what bacon is? Oh well, I love bacon.
I pull it up to my mouth and take a bite, I chew it and she watches my mouth carefully, it's kind of awkward. When I'm done, I take another bite, I then hold a piece up to her mouth and she opens her mouth, taking the whole piece in one go, barely missing my fingers. The pair of us enjoy our breakfast together, I don't even notice when the rest of the Avengers walk in, well, not until Tony talks "Mmm, bacon!" He runs over and I smirk. I look between Georgina and Tony, the last piece of bacon in my hand, I look up at Tony "You want it? It's the last piece in the tower." He holds out his hand "You do have a-" "Beg for it." "-heart… Red!" "Get down on your knees and beg for it." He groans and the others laugh "You're not getting it otherwise." He walks away, red in the face, to the kitchen.
His loss.
I offer it to Georgina, but she nudges my hand with her nose, moving the bacon closer to me "You want me to have it?" She barks and I smile. I then break the piece into two pieces and share it with her, the others walk over and sit around. From the kitchen, I hear Tony swear, probably noticing I was telling the truth about this being the last of the bacon. Clint comments "You and the wolf seem to be getting along." I lean my back against the couch and nod, Georgina lays down on her uninjured side "Georgina and I are friends now." "Georgina?" Her ears perk up and she looks at him "Well, okay then."
During the morning, I take Georgina out to relieve herself and to get some fresh air. We end up out for hours because she's so distracted by everything around her, it's as if she's never been outside before. I eventually manage to get her back to the tower, I take her to the infirmary, where her tail goes between her legs, her ears flatten and she backs out of the room "Georgina, no one here will hurt you. We just need to check your wound, where you were shot." It takes a while before she re-enters the room. Bruce cleans her wound and puts some cream on it to help it heal "It's healing a lot faster than I thought it would, HYDRA might've done something to accelerate her healing abilities.
