"Bubble" –part of the movie
"Bubble" –part of speech
"Jason run!"
The enemy had spotted him. His friends were nowhere to be seen. He was stuck alone with half of his enemy team surrounding him. His mind told him to run but his legs told him to stop or at least to slow down.
His chest heaving by the quick pants and heart that threatened to burst from its speed.
He couldn't stop.Too much was at stake.
A startling revelation made him come up with the next best thing he could do:
Flying. With a final face-palming moment, he leaped up into the air and tasted once again the feeling of freedom he loves so much.
But he had a goal and concentration was key.
If he reached to the other side of the forest, the battle would be won.His eyes narrowed, lips pursed and eyebrows furrowed.
None of the enemies could fly –as far as he knew-, so that was his advantage.
The goal was near and his faith high. Soaring through the sky, stick in hand and legs straight, he reached his destination. With the biggest grin on his face, his feet hitting the ground, tempted to do a mini dance, he turned his head to his team. They had won!
Why aren't they cheering?
Why are the enemies cheering?!
"Did we win?" he found himself asking, taking his helmet off, hoping and praying to whoever was listening, that wasn't the case.
"They were minutes earlier," replied Leo with a defeated voice and a downcast face, slowly walking from the tree line to stand at Jason's right side. Jason's face soon resembled a squashed pancake.
The staff slipped from his hand, while he slumped on the ground to rest.
"We lost?".
"We did Blonde Superman," said Leo with a pout on his face. Both their weapons met with the ground. "Why? Did you bet or something?".
"Yeah. Something like that." He said, frowning. His cousin's face soon came to the front of his head. "But it's alright. After all, it's just a game". A small smile came to his face. "And Percy will be overjoyed to win Capture the Flag. Again." He felt Leo sit beside him.A smirk overcame Leo's face. "Didn't you place a bet with Percy?" The smirk started growing. "If my mind is remembering correctly, she said that she would reach 33 victories against your team while you would have no victories at all." Now a huge grin spit his face. "A little bitter, I suppose?"
"A bit."
"Gods, she's never going to let me forget this for as long as we live"
.
.
."So, Sparky," Percy was jumping up and down with a big grin slapped on her face, whilst nearing Jason. "How do you feel?" Percy knew that she was annoying him, but she didn't care. Jason's face was worth the energy lost on him.
Impersonating an interviewer and walking backwards-mind you, a shit eating grin plastered on her face-, she held her hand around her imaginary mic, and purposefully stuffing it in his face.
"Tell us Thundershorts, how is it to fail so magnificently? Because, we all want to know, how can somebody be so natural at it. How do you cope with the knowledge that you are-"Their conversation, (more like let's-rub-the-failure-in-Jason's-face interview), was cut short by Leo running by, arms flailing around and a crazed expression on his face, while he was screaming at the top of his lungs:
"A B C D E F G, Gummy bears are chasing me! One is red and one is blue! One is chewing on my shoe! Now I am running for my life! 'Cause the green one's got a knife!"
