Stars are Often Lonely

A poetry book for the broken.
For the ones who are lost.
For those who do not remember love.
For those who feel sad all the time.
For those who have forgotten their lights.
For those standing alone in a crowd.

For the stars that are often lonely.

To all those people who are up at 3 a.m. looking through their contacts lists full of names and numbers but not a single person to call.

To the lonely.

To us.

But I hope I've come close.
