Chapter 12: Team NGHT

ChiggerXninja: Sup random people, sorry I didn't post any new chapters, school is a B#tch sometimes.

Ruby stands near the cliff gazing down at the grave her cape flaps behind her as the wind blows, she takes off her hood.

"Hey mom..." she said looking at the grave of Summer Rose. "Sorry I haven't came by in a while things have been... well, things have been pretty busy Oh! Dad is here too you know... dad, he is still teaching at Signal but he told me he is going to be going out on some missions soon... I think he still misses going on adventures with you" Ruby looks down at the grave smiling softly.

"I miss you too... I haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool I think being on a team with Yang helps I keep her in line... okay, that was a joke... but Noctis does that for me from time to time. She's actually a really great fighter you can tell she's learned a lot from dad and Noctis... Well so are Weiss and Blake Oh! They are my teammates together we form team RWBY and yes before you ask that does cause a lot of confusion. Anyways uh I've made a bunch of new friends and I met some... let's just say odd teachers Oh! We've also stopped some bad guys too, I guess it's like they say like mother like daughter... speaking of mother and daughter Noctis is not looking so well, Yang is worried she might..." Ruby pauses before continuing.

"I think Yang feels like she's going to leave her as she did... I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early but uh... I guess he'll tell me one day you know how he is... It's funny the more I get to know him the more he starts sounding like uncle Qrow." A dog barks startling Ruby she turns seeing her father and corgi behind her. "Oh! Looks like dad's back I gotta go, he's dropping me at Beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission. Wish me luck!"

Ruby puts her hood on and starts to walk towards her dad, she stops turning around to look at the grave "It was good to talk." She jogs towards him.

The crowd cheers watching the different exciting matches Noctis watches them through the projection as she washes dishes, a bell rings signalling someone entering. "I hope you can eat quickly dear customer because I have somewhere to be"

"Geeze, how can rude can you be Jawsome"

Noctis looks up seeing the familiar faces, she drops the plate she was holding, and it shatters when it impacts the wooden floor "Topazo? Howl?"

The dusty blond girl tackles her rubbing her face against the bartender's "What are you guys doing here?!" Noctis asks excitedly.

"Well little leader considering your 19th is coming up we thought we might celebrate by visiting you." Howl said lifting both girls up.

Noctis eyes sparkled with excitement, the siblings laughed at her childishness. Washington grabs her attention by slithering near her watch, Noctis glances at him then the clock. "Oh, would you look at the time... I'm afraid I have to go to attend a meeting with Ozpin and a few others." Noctis pouts.

"We'll be following you too because he did summon us as well..." Topazo said.

"That's strange... It's properly because of the increase of White Fang and Roman Torchwick activity or perhaps that woman is making her move." Noctis said "I'll be down in a minute I need to change" The two wait for Noctis.
