I freezed.

Who would, in their right mind, make a shiny, glittery, slick and scaled things as their pet?

I would prefer a furry one rather than a scaled one. I'd prefer hundreds of doves than one fish, even if there is only their Gill.

It tempted me to just flipped over that round aquarium that was being displayed on top of the shelves in front of the genkan of her house.

I'm sure that Aoko and her father has held a grudge against Kaitou Kid, but never with the smart, playfull, joy bringer Kaito Kuroba.

I make sure to denote myself to become their special person. Thus, I understand that they are doing the same thing to me, which is why they would have known my special uninterest, or should I say, special requirements for being as far as I could from that scally swimming carp, no matter if it was dead or alive.

Then, what was that thing doing over there?

It big eyes is looking at me as if it was ready to munch and gulp me down on those hecka big mouth. Who said that things is cute? They're definitely not sober.

I have just prepared myself to leave her home silently, without heeding the need to throw that fish away, but Aoko caught me by surprise when she popped up from behind my back. Oh, and did I mention her annoying smirks?

“Well, Kaito! Why are you so much in a rush?” She held my wrist with some godly power then rushed me to follow her back inside

“I just wanted to introduce you to my new, adorable, shiny little pet!”

In that split second, I could make view of her eyes that was glittering with some bold emotions, which is hard to describe but somehow made my awareness shot through the high end, reminding me to be careful and just flee from the dire situation.

“Last time I saw Kaitou Kid, he was so scared to death with my new pet” she remarked

"So, Kaito. If you don't want me to throw your hand on the aquarium to pet it, you better tell me everything!”

Pet.

I'm never going to have one.

Because I was already became her pet.
