Just my problem (marceline x fem reader)

Chapter 2

Dumbfounded you strolled closer to the huge cave and pinched your arm a few times to make sure this wasn't just an amazing dream.

Your legs kinda hurt from your fall  but that would not deter you. this was your chance to maybe meet Marceline and nothing was gonna stop you. The cool night air blew across your face ruffling your now messy (H/C) hair urging you to tidy it up as much as you could tucking a few loose strand behind your ear. Gotta look presentable right?

Finally you reached the mouth of the cave. It was huge much bigger than the show presented and a small flickering light eminated from a small wooden house deeper inside. Upon seeing it a huge grin Spread across your face. "she's home!" you all but squealed to yourself covering your mouth and composing yourself afterwards. Your walking pace increased as you made your way to the house and walked cautiously up the porch stairs and stood fully taking in your situation, a wide grin plastered on your face.

The house was a pinkish white colour and beautifully crafted with wooden planks a few windows dotted the house but the curtains were closed leaving you unable to confirm who was inside. A smell of damp filled the air coming from the cave walls but the closer you got to the house it faded counteracted by a pleasant smell coming from the house.

Finally you reached the door and mustered up the courage to lightly knock on the door. After a few seconds of no response you were about to knock again but a beautiful melodic voice chimed from inside "One second Finn. Glob why are you so early!?". It was her. She's here. You're gonna be face to face with Marceline the vampire queen.

You saw a shadow gracefully float to the door and the doorknob turned before the door flew open and Marceline stood there looking at you.
She wore a black vest with a pentagram pattern on it and some black jeans similar to yours which caused you to smile. Her long black untamed hair enveloped her body messily and her pale skin seemed to glow in the small rays of moonlight that made it to her house

Her smile quickly faded and became a look of confusion as she looked you up and down. "Who the hell are you and why are you smiling at me like that?" she questioned defensivley snapping you out of your trance and blushing furiously. "S-sorry ma'am my name's (Y/N) and well I'm a little lost" you stuttered rubbing the back of your neck nervously. She sighed  sounding a little annoyed before finally speaking "ok then (Y/N) where are you trying to get to?" she tilted her head slightly waiting for an answer. You began to panic. You hadn't thought this far ahead so all you could mutter was "I don't a-actually know". You mentally slapped yourself for providing such a stupid answer but marcelines look seemed to soften and looked almost sympathetic. After thinking a while she spoke "Um I could give you some directions to the candy kingdom. I'm sure Bonnabelle could find you somewhere to stay". Desperately looking for an excuse to stay you just sputtered the first excuse that came to mind "B-but there's m-monsters and stuff out there they'll ...eat me!" you cringed at how pathetic you sounded and slumped a little. "Well your technically speaking to a monster now y'know?" she chuckled.
Butterflies filled your stomach as you straightened up a little. You made her laugh. You of all people made THE Marceline laugh.

Finally marceline sighed heavily again and moved out of the doorway gesturing inside "you can crash here for tonight, but only for tonight in the morning you're gone ok?"
"Yes please!" you exclaimed basically sprinting inside your heart almost beating out of your chest.
