Just my problem (marceline x fem reader)

Chapter 14

(Y/N) POV

For what felt like an eternity all I saw was darkness. It was like I was at the bottom of the ocean floating around with no escape. I realised that I had died.

My thoughts were interrupted by an intense itch on my neck. When I scratched it and looked at my hand there was blood coming from my neck. "What the fu-" I began to say before all of a sudden I felt myself get thrown back into my body. I was shot up to my feet as I took a huge breath of air. But the air didn't feel right. It was different, like I didn't need.

I looked down to see a sword plunged into my stomach. Shocked I swiftly pulled it out and to add to my shock I then watched as my stomach Knitted itself back together within seconds like there was no wound even there. I looked up to see Marcy, Finn and Jake shielding themselves from what seemed to be me. "M...marcy?" I said quietly in complete confusion.

"(Y/N)!" she yelled pulling me into the tightest hug I've ever experienced. When I didn't return it she pulled away with a confused look on her face matching my own. Tears were brimming my eyes and that changed her expression to worry "(Y/N) what's wrong?"

"What did you guys do I...I was dead this is wrong" I said looking down again at my healed stomach trying to process what was going on.

"(Y/N) I turned you into a vampire to bring you back. You were dead b..but now you're back and I'm never gonna leave your side again."

I gasped a little tears falling from my eyes "I'm a v..v..vampire" I said looking at myself. I could already notice the changes. My skin was more pale resembling Marcelines and all my sences felt more in tune. It was true. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Marcy taking my hands in hers and rubbing them reassuringly. "Honey I know it's a lot to take in but I'm gonna get you through it ok?" she said lowering herself to look me in the eye. "I mean could you really ask for a better mentor?" she said trying to lighten the mood and a small smile meet my lips as I brought her up so we were eye to eye.

"I love you Marcy thankyou for saving my life" I said before kissing her deeply. "I love you too and we're gonna get you through this I promise."

I nodded and we both smiled and put our for heads together affectionately simply enjoying eachothers presence.

Then however I looked over to Finn and Jake standing awkwardly. I felt an uncontrollable rage overcome me and my vision was invaded by red. I attempted to attack Finn but I found myself remaining in place as Marcy wrapped her arms around me managing to be firm and gentle all at once. "(Y/N) it wasn't Finn he was being controlled by... someone. We don't know it is yet." Her voice soothed me and I slumped into her arms feeling exhausted. I suppose this rage is another vampire perk.

"Was that not true when you said all that stuff about being in love with me then" I questioned.
"What!?" Finn exclaimed sounding utterly dumbfounded confirming it wasn't him saying it.

"Right well I think I'd like to go home for the moment" I said feeling both physically and mentally drained.
Marceline interjected "Um it might be a better idea to come back to my place your house could be kinda dangerous throughout the day with all the windows and stuff."

"Oh... Yeah" I said looking to the floor. I was gonna have to change my whole way of life. However, I had to hold onto the idea that Marcy could get me through this. I mean she was right I couldn't ask for a better mentor and one positive to take from this whole situation. Now we can be together forever.
