I see a light over there,
care to see where it is?
In the air, I can see a light floating around.
Hearing the sound of silence-
its humming in my ears,
I understand as I look towards the ground.
I frowned when the light disappeared,
wondering where this feeling of "fear" shivers down my spine came from.
It's weird how it just appeared here,
and now its gone.
I've been drawn to see this light-
despite how tight my heart is feeling in your grasp,
I still believed in seeing this light once more again.
Seeing the cuts torn onto your sweater,
I wonder how that happened.
You've shown me this map and, there was a gap in it.
As I opened up my tired eyes, all I could see were those lights, those- oh.
Fireflies.
They were fireflies all along.
I was so wrong, but they've made me stronger.
It's been so long since I've been down there.
