This may sound crazy

Every time you walk into the room, I get so nervous.

Whenever our eyes meet; thats my weakness.

Every day we speak, I am speechless.

Looking above the crowd just to find you all by yourself, here I am wondering why you're all alone. 

Please don't let your head down so easily- Ill be the one you can run to.

Ive got you memorized- I close my eyes and you're all I see. 

Maybe you're not the one for me, but I hare the idea of you being somebody else's.

I've become a stranger within seconds, I'm hoping my love for you still thrives in the night.

I'm so scared you'll forget what we had- but I'm so sure you've already forgotten. 

We were a 'past-tense' love... not meant to be together in our future. 

But that won't stop me from being your friend.

I've known from the beginning- that you've had a new love.

I thought you cared. 

You did, but not about me. 

This may sound crazy, but I don't care anymore. 

I've chased you for years and fallen helplessly in love- and yet... you haven't caught me.

But instead, you caught her.
