Chapter 4

{Brian's P.O.V}

When we finally get a cab we go straight to the hospital. Once we get there she runs in obviously trying not to panic , but starts asking a bunch of questions, she is all over the place. When she finally gets someone to answers she runs to her brother's room. I walk in behind her and just stand to the side.

{Katarina's P.O.V}

I run into my brother's room ,Amber is sitting there with him and the kids are asleep cuddled up on a pull out bed. I walk over to my brother tears slowly falling down my cheeks, time seems to move slowly I just look at him. He is all bruised and cut. I lean down kissing his forehead softly." I love you bubs" I feel a few tears roll down my cheeks I look back at Brian. I think to myself why is he still here. I walk over to him nodding my head towards the door. We walk outside the room " Brian thank you for being here but I'm fine here you can go." He just stands there looking at me" But Kat I don't want to leave you do need someone here and if you don't I'm sure Amber .. Is that her name needs help with the kids and I'm great with kids..." I sigh and Amber walks out " I don't mean to be nosey but, Katarina Brian here is right we both need someone here." She looks at Brian " by the way you're Synyster Gates aren't you? " he nods and Amber smiles" Jackson just adores you and your band. So do I but he is you guys biggest fan. You are the reason he plays guitar and he is the reason Kat here plays. They're both just so talented."

A few tears roll down her cheeks I start to cry. I hug Amber then Brian hugs us both and softly says" when he wakes up and is all better I promise I'll get him to meet the band and we'll all be bros." Me and Amber both smile then we all walk back into the room. When we walk In Trevor is just standing next to Jackson's bed looking at him. He says" daddy please don't leave us please...we need you mommy needs you she won't stop crying and neither will sissy. His head falls as he begins sobbing "daddy i really need you please daddy please don't die wake up daddy please!" Amber and I are standing there pouring tears. Amber walks over to Trevor pulling him into a hug. I look at Brian he wipes the tears in his eyes away as he grabs me and hugs me tightly as he whispers" I swear I'll be here for you Kat. You won't have to go through this alone."

{Brian's P.O.V}

~4 hours later~

I'm just sitting here thinking how life is so precious ,how you can't take life for granted. I look over at Katarina who is asleep in the chair next to the kids bed.  The 3 little kids lay there cuddled up with one another. I feel a warmth in my chest as I look at Amber who has her head laid over on her husband's bed soft snores coming from her and the occasional jump as she wakes up to look at her husband only to sigh and lay her head back on his hand. I look back over at Kat and smile I promised her I'm going to be here for her and I will keep that promise. I look at the kids and the smallest kid the black haired baby girl sits up wow that must be Danny because she is the spitting image of Katarina. She carefully gets off the bed and walks over to me and says" who are you?" I smile as I whisper" I'm Brian your mommy's friend."

She smiles as she walks over to Kat and pulls her arm .Kat jumps before looking down at Danny causing her to smile for the first time in hours " I missed you mommy. Is uncle Jackson ok?" I smile and think to myself thank god she smiled. She stands up and picks up Danny. She walks over to me and whispers" come walk with us." I stand up and walk with them we walk outside to a park area Danny runs off and plays Kat looks at me then at the ground " so I guess you met Danny?"I smile"yeah she is so sweet and look just like you" she smiles back " yup that's my minnie me she acts, try's to talk , dresses and plays around with her little guitar and drum set like me. She says she is going to be a rock star." I smile and she looks out at danny " well Kat I think if she grows up and is anything like you then she will be a rock star."
