~five years later~
(This is were the fanfic is actually starting)
Y/n's POV
It's been a year and a half since I've broken up with Peter. After we graduated Peter started working as the CEO of Stark industries because Tony and Pepper both retired. I became my dads assistant because he couldn't trust anyone else plus, I had a lot of spare time.
Me and Peter had a pretty rough argument because he was always bailing on me. We've had at least eleven normal dates. We had goodbye sex and I left our apartment leaving behind the promise ring he gave me when we got it.
I never got over him. I tried to get over him by hooking up with random dudes but that made me feel even worse. I was diagnosed with deep depression and my doctor told me to go to a therapist but I never did.
I kept seeing his face over and over again all over social media since he became the CEO of Stark industries. I don't know if he moved away from our apartment because I never dared to go back there.
It wasn't the most luxurious house ever but it was pretty specious and fancy. We got it before he worked for Tony. He has probably moved away.
I mean why would he stay there? I've talked to people that met him recently and they all described him as cold ,emotionless, hard as a rock. I never believed any of that bullshit.

One day decided to pay him a visit. I went inside the Stark tower that people said he worked on everyday. It had at least 70 floors. The glass was crystal clean like someone had just washed it.
When I went inside I saw the blonde blue eyed secretary. "Hi um." I greeted her. "Yes?" She said not looking up. "I need to see Pet- Mr. Parker right now." I stated clearly.
"Have you made an appointment?" She asked coldly "No I-" "I can't let you in if you hadn't made an appointment miss." "I have to see him now." I insisted. "Name?"
"Y/n Black." I took my black glasses off just like a badass.
"Oh my- Hello Mrs. Black." She gasped when she heard my name. Everyone in this tower knows my name because our company's are like their competitors.
"I need to see him now." I said keeping my voice low "May I know the reason?" She asked chewing her gum in the most annoying way ever.
"You may not." I smiled ironically and flipped my hair.
"I'll contact his assistant right know and let her know. Mr. Parker doesn't like being disturbed when he is working. Make yourself comfortable." She smiled warmly and called his assistant.
I waited patiently for a response "She'll be here in a bit." The secretary said and went back to work.
I stared at the clock until a beautiful woman with green eyes and brown hair came close to me. "Hello Mrs. Black. Follow me." She smirked and pointed at the elevator. "Hi um does he know I'm here?" I asked and went inside the elevator.
"Haven't told him yet. Well see, he only allows me to interrupt him. I'm Daniela his assistant." She said and looked down. I nodded and scanned her figure.
The door opened and we went outside. She stopped me and said "I need to tell him the reason why you are here or else he will decline your request to see him. Are you here to pay him a visit or for business reasons?" She asked and rubbed her glossy pink lips together "A- a visit." I smiled and sat down.
"I'll be right back." She said and opened the double door.
Daniela's POV
05:21 pm
"Sir you have a visitor." I looked over at my handsome boss "Don't tell me you allowed a fan girl to enter this tower again." He said emotionless "No. It's Mrs. Black. Do you think she came here to threa-."
He cut me off "W-who." His voice cracked and to be honest this was the first time I saw him having a facial expression.
"Mrs. Black." I said. He looked really sad. He ran his hand through his hair and stood up. "What does she want?" He asked me and looked out of the window "She came here to see you." I kept a straight face "Don't let her in." He demanded.
"Sir are you-" "NO!" He shouted and pointed at the door. "GO!" He kept yelling and turned around. His eyes were red and puffy. He casually sat on his chair like nothing happened. He put his hands on his face and motioned me to go.
I nodded and went outside. Something fishy is happening. I assumed they knew each other really well.
Y/n's POV
5:26 pm
I stood up and saw Daniela come out of Peter's door and closing it shut.
"Mr. Parker declined your request."
I opened my eyes wide and wanted to burst into tears right in front of her eyes. I looked at her up and down in shock. I mean what was I waiting? Of course he wouldn't want to see me after breaking his heart.
He's probably moved on already. "W-Why?" I stuttered.
"I don't know Ms. He told me to keep you away from him. I'm sorry you are not allowed to see him." She said and walked away.
I felt the anger in me raging. I knocked his door softly hoping for him to come out and hug me or something. He never came making me even more mad at him.
I left the tower running. Everyone knew something was up but I didn't care.
Peter's POV
10:08 pm
She finally came. I waited for her for so long. It felt like forever. She made me a mess. I was laying in the black leather couch of my office and was drinking vodka. I was already getting kinda dizzy but that didn't stop me.
Until Daniela came through my door and said "Sir you were supposed to be on a meeting-" she stopped her movements when she saw me on the chouch. She gasped and came close to me.
"Are you ok sir? Do you want me to cancel the meeting?" She asked "Yes. I want a day off as well." I breathed heavily trying to keep my tears back.
I stood up and sat back on my chair. I unbuttoned the first three buttons on my shirt and took my suit off. "Sir I hate being nosy but I can't let you drink your problems away. You've been a mess all day since Mrs. Black left. Did you know her?" She said concerned.
"I knew her better than anyone else. I knew her better than the palm of my hand. At least I thought I knew her. I was proven wrong. But that's none of your business Mrs. Hill. Don't disturb me again. Now go."
I said and tried to not think of Y/n. Daniela left without saying anything. I sent everyone home and stayed alone at the tower thinking about my next move.
I of course wanted to get back with her but she broke my heart saying that I'm not enough for her and that she deserved better.
I thought I knew her.
I wore my Spider-Man suit and sneaked my way out of the Stark tower without a word. I retried a few months ago but finally something in me told me to do the only thing I loved.
