Y/n's POV
I was on my way home with my earphones blasting through my favorite song.

I was singing quietly hoping that no one heard me. When the music got lower I heard someone's footsteps behind me. I ignored it and walked a little faster hoping that they wouldn't kidnap me.

Peter's POV
Y/n's voice was perfect. She heard me walking behind her and sped up. When she sung it wasn't like she was just singing the lyrics of the song it was like she meant them. Like she was singing for someone.
She meant every single word. I bet she was singing for her ex-boyfriend Nickolas. I don't even know why they broke up.

She sniffed and looked down. She was ready to cry. I wanted to comfort her but we don't really know each other so well. After school I always do my duties as Spider-Man and never go home. But today I felt kind of sick and decided to go home earlier.

Yep. She was definitely singing for Nickolas. That guy didn't even treat her right. He was always up her butt and never let her hang out with other boys.
When he found out we were partners in Biology he did the best he could for the teacher to make her partners with another girl. Well he failed.

She started crying. She wiped her tears away and tried to keep singing. Her voice was cracking a lot but she never stopped.

She stopped singing and was going to look back. I immediately looked down trying to avoid eye contact. I walked slower as she turned her head. I kept looking down until she turned back around.
I sighed in relieve and looked back up. She stopped singing and kept walking; slowing down her pace.

She smirked and peeked back. I was caught of guard which caused me to blush. I changed my mind.
Y/n's POV
I stopped and decided to talk to Peter. I took my earphones off and turned around. He was gone. I shrugged and kept walking. I was in front of my door and opened it.
"Hey Nathan is anyone home?" I yelled. "Dad is at work. Same goes for mom." He replied firmly.
"He is not your dad. Can you go harass other families?" I said and went upstairs.
I heard him giggle as I closed my door. I opened my window and got out of my clothes. My closet is huge so I wore my favorite silk robe that I always had laying on my bed. I sat on my balcony and took my phone with me.
I started scrolling through my social media but I saw in the corner of my eye a red and blue figure swinging in front of me.
~flashback~
I was sitting in the rooftop of my apartment watching the sunset. My apartment was right next to Peter's which was amazing. He knew I didn't live there. He had seen me go in my dads house. I noticed Spider-Man sitting next to me.
"What is a lovely girl doing here this late?" He asked and looked at me. "Just watching the sunset." I smiled and paused "What about you?" I asked. He shrugged "Me too. Isn't it gorgeous?" He asked "Yeah it is." I agreed.
"Out of all these rooftops in Queens why are you sitting on mine?" I started getting curious.
"Umm." He muttered "Do we know each other?" I asked "I do. I don't know if y-you do." He stuttered and looked down. "No. I mean in real life. When you are without your suit." I blushed thinking that Spider-Man might know me.
"I've had the biggest crush on you since.......forever. We have never talked to each other...so I guess t-this is our first conversation." He sighed realizing what he had just said. I just stood there in shock. Not only did we know each other but he had a crush on ME.
"I s-shouldn't 've said that. I'm sorry." He apologized "N-" "I should get going." He cut me off "No wait!" I yelled as he swung away. I started questioning my existence. Spider-Man had a crush on me.
I knew who he was. Spider-Man has been my favorite hero since his first appearance. I wanted to know his identity so badly.
I loved Peter but we have never talked to each other. If I got to Spider-Man better I could get over my crush on Peter.....
~back to today~
I had to get up and do my homework. I had to write two essays and they were both due tomorrow. After procrastinating for an hour I stood up and went back inside. I couldn't focus. Peter was the only thing crossing my mind.
When I finally finished my homework I had dance class. Dancing is the only thing that relaxes me. I dance solo every time Harley is ditching. She was there today so I had to force myself to dance with her.
"Why didn't you tell me you had a crush on Peter?" She asked as we started dancing. I got red as a tomato and didn't answer. "Did you know that I had a crush on him?" She whispered "No of course I didn't." I whispered back trying to focus "Didn't Cathrine tell you? She told me she would." I nodded no and kept silent until the song was over.
