When was the last time you lied to yourself? Probably not long ago or you're lying to yourself right this moment.

Why are you doing this?

Why am I?

I like getting some moments to lie down, just to cool off for a bit. And while I chill in my headspace I always ask myself 'How the fuck did I end up here?'

Day 94

"Seems like the team is hatching up a plan to rescue you." The man let out a hysterical laugh and continued talking. "So we made up a new plan and we're going to speed things up."

   "We had to uh... compromise."

"What do you want?" He asked them.

"We're going to give you to them. You're gonna have to act like you know them all and then... well, you're gonna have to bring Y/n Black to me."

Tony's POV

"Target neutralized."

"Okay Tony, you and Pepper enter from the back exit. I don't see any guards. Steve and Sam, you guys go in from the elevator and distract the guards."

Y/n was the one giving everyone instructions and was looking at the cameras to see if anyone got in our way. She was kinda like our navigator.

If they did come our way, we'd kill them.

"Nat you go in with Tony and Pepper and look for the captors with Clint."

"All guards are down out here."

"Bucky we need as many people as we can inside the facility. Do you think you'll be fine on your own?" Y/n asks.

"I'll be okay. Wanda, go help them."

"We're in." I whispered and looked around and set my eyes on Steve and Sam. We looked at each other confused. "Y/n there isn't anyone in here."

"There is no way. The cameras-"

"They've got Bucky." Steve said and jumped out the window.

And the son of a bitch was right. And as much I hopped he wasn't right, he was. But I went outside I couldn't believe my eyes. He was there.

Looking at me. Nobody else but me.

He was wearing a gray baggy sweater in some black sweatpants. His hair was freshly groomed and he had a band aid on top of his ear. He had a few bruises on his neck and his eyes were red.

But it wasn't from crying.

I took of my helmet and got a better glance at him as all the clouds in the sky formed into a really dark shade of gray. He was cold. In fact he was trembling.

Bucky was fine. He had already escaped and was with the rest of the team. "Peter?" I whispered softly and came closer to him.
