My mother had gone off for a trip and I was left home alone to go about my day. It was kinda lonely but I dealt with it.
Each morning I visited a small cafe that was close to my house so I could walk. It was quite relaxing to do especially because of how quiet it was on the way there. Surprisingly there was minimum traffic and rarely any people walking on the sidewalk.

I pushed open the door going towards the counter. The usual person was there giving me a kind smile. "Hi (Y/n) back again I see! Want the usual?" Autumn spoke smiling at me.
"Yep!" I said cheerfully as she quickly grabbed a (F/D). (Favorite Drink.)
"Thanks." I said as I quickly payed her and walked towards my usual table. I sat down setting my cup down opening up my phone. I began scrolling through Instagram looking at random things. (If you don't have Instagram, Say it's something else!)
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed someone standing by me. I looked up seeing a boy staring at me with a kind smile. "Can I sit here?" He questioned as I nodded. He quickly sat down across from me putting his drink down onto the table.
"Hi! My names Allen, What's yours?" He asked as I looked up from my phone.
I took a deep breath trying to remain calm. Social interaction is not my thing! Nor do I like talking to people in the morning while I'm having my drink.
"M-my makes (Y/n)." I said making him smile. "Nice name. Would you like to be friends?" He said looking at me curiously.
"Sure. Uh... want my number?" I said looking up kinda wanting to end the conversation but another part of me wanting to stay and talk to him. He's a stranger... but he's cute...
