I walked into school my book bag over my shoulder. I lazily walked to my locker putting away my books and preparing to head to my first class.
Before I got to my class I seen two girls walk by. They laughed loudly and gossiped away while heading towards the restroom. I couldn't help, but stare at the one girl.
Her name was Tammy and for some odd reason I found her extremely attractive. She was really mean though. I wish I could have liked someone more... kind..
I put everything into my locker and headed towards the bathroom. I had to fix up my clothes and fix my hair. When I was walking into school some stupid boy ran into me causing me to hit into a wall causing my hair to get all messed up. I had it in a nice braid, but now it's all messed up. (If you don't put your hair that way just pretend you wanted to try something different!)
I entered the bathroom and looked on the mirror. Tammy and Jocelyn were standing there putting on lipstick and fixing up their makeup. I took a deep breath and focused on fixing my hair.
I ran my fingers through my hair and grabbed my hair tie. I put my hair tie on my wrist and pulled my shirt down and dusted it off. All of a sudden someone tapped my shoulder.
"Ew (Y/n) why aren't you wearing makeup?" Jocelyn said crossing her arms lookin at me in disgust.
"Because I don't want to look like I'm going to the circus." I said rolling my eyes.
"Girl. You look like you belong in the zoo." Tammy said walking towards me. Why did that hurt? My heart felt like it shattered into a million pieces.
"I-I.. Hey! You act like you look any better." I said a light blush dusting my cheeks.
"I think I can help you." She said getting close to my face. "I'll show you how to be popular! I'll make sure all the guys want you!" She said clapping her hands.
"Jocelyn Get my book bag! We are ditching!" She cheered. I rubbed my arm nervously as Tammy grabbed my hand and began pulling me out of the school.
(A little later.)
"I don't think we should be skipping school." I said nervously. "Oh don't be such a Worry wort. Geez you're starting to sound like Tina!" Tammy laughed as we carried our book bags towards Tammy's house.
"My parents won't be home so like we have all the time to make you pretty." Tammy said.
"And we are gonna need a lot of time.." Tammy muttered. I sighed feeling extremely self conscious.
We arrived at her house and they put me into a chair while they got out all their makeup and clothes. They grabbed fifty thousand hair tied and a bright pink hair brush. I twiddled my fingers as Tammy grabbed my face squishing me. I sat there while they both poked at me.
"Hmm. Let's start with some Hot pink lipstick!" Tammy said clapping her hands together in excitement.
"I'll go get it." Jocelyn said going to the bathroom. "You really are ugly." Tammy said examining my face.
"I don't know why anyone would be into you." She said making my heart snap. Tears filled my eyes. I quickly looked away from her clenching my fists as she continued.
"Tammy! I can't find it!" Jocelyn yelled from the other room. "Oh my god Jocelyn! It's on the top shelf where my makeup bag was!" Tammy shouted in annoyance.
"I don't even think makeup will fix you." She said poking my cheek. I took a deep breath trying to hold back my tears. You can only be hurt so many times before you really start to believe how ugly you are.
"I don't think we can do anything about your weight. You're rather chunky." She said poking my stomach.
That's it. I stood up and glared at her as tears slipped down my face. "Seriously! All you have done was lower my confidence and insult me!" I yelled. She stared at me in shock her eyes wide.
"I've always tried to get your attention because I like you! Now I know what a fool I was! You.. You're nothing but a bitch!" I yelled grabbing my bag and running out of the house.
(A few minutes later.)
I sat on the park bench tears still streaming down my face. I can't believe I thought she would like me. This is pointless. A person as ugly as me couldn't get anyone to like me back..
"(Y/n)! What the hell!" Tammy yelled running towards the bench. She breathed heavily as she stood by the bench.
"My god. I've been looking for you everywhere!" She said. "You idiot! Why'd you even run off!"
"You know I was only insulting you because I thought you were to good for me... so.. I insulted you.. I guess I was like a little boy picking on the girl he liked.." Tammy muttered her face turning red.
"I actually think you are the most beautiful person.." she whispered her face extremely red. "Are you serious?" I asked wiping the tears from my face. A light pink covered my face as I smiled slightly. She nodded making me jump up and press my lips to hers.
She kissed me back wrapping her arms around me.
"Get a room you two!" Jocelyn yelled as I puked away from Tammy. I giggled making Tammy smile.
"So.. are we a thing now?" Tammy asked as I nodded.
"We are going to be the best couple in school!" Tammy said with excitement.
"Yes we are." I said with a smile grabbing her hand.
