Today was Saturday and I was walking down to GameStop to look for this new game. I entered the store and searched for my game.
I spotted the game on the shelf and my eyes lit up. There it was in all its glory.
'Attack on Titan 2 Final Battle.'
I grabbed it off the shelf and quickly payed for the game. I left the store staring down at my game reading the back of it in awe.
All of a sudden I slammed into someone knocking them down. I dropped my game and I looked down to see who it was.
"Ow my delicate Body." Someone whined.
"Darryl! I'm so sorry!" I said reaching a hand down to help him up. "Oh (Y/n). I didn't see you there." He said as I helped him stand up.
"Oh is this yours?" He asked picking it up and handing it to me. "Yeah. Thanks. Once again I'm sorry!" I said about to walk away, but he grabbed my hand.
Instantly I blushed holding my game tightly. He let go of my hand and coughed.
"S-sorry. I was just wondering if you wanted to come over to my house to play some games later." He said with a slight stutter.
"Oh sure! That'd be awesome." I said as he wrote down his number and an address on a piece of paper that he took out of his pocket.
"Alright I'll see you later!" I said as I began walking home. "See ya later!" Darryl said waving as I walked away.
I went home and instantly put my game into my Xbox. I began to download it as I laid back on my bed.
I grabbed my phone putting Darryl's number into my contacts. "Oh dang. He didn't tell me what time.." I muttered to myself. I quickly sent him a text asking him what time he wanted to hang out.
Immediately I got a response that said...
"Around 4:30?"
I responded with "Okay." And got off my bed to go brush my teeth once again and freshen up a bit. I was okay with what I was wearing so I brushed my hair fixing myself up.
I have never really told anyone about my feelings for Darryl. I knew I couldn't trust anyone with my secrets so I kept it to myself.
He's been my friend for years and for me to have feelings for him makes me feel bad. He most likely only thinks of me as a friend. If I confess I'll be friend zoned for sure. I've also never gone to his house... He's always came over to my house.
(Time-Skip!)
I arrived at Darryl's house and knocked on the door. A minute later Darryl opened the door letting me into the house. "You have a nice house." I said taking my shoes of as he lead me upstairs to his bedroom.
"This is my famous gaming corner!" He said showing me his shelf full of games.
"Wow." I said staring in awe at the various amounts of games.
"I've been playing Slime Rancher." He said motioning to his Tv. He got back onto his game as I laid on his bed staring at the Tv.
He was searching for slimes as he fell off the map. "Dang it!" He shouted as he passed the controller over to me.
"I got this." I spoke as I traveled all the way back to where he was. I hit A and jumped across the platform using the Jetpack to fly over.
"Feed the Big boy slime!" He said pointing at the screen showing the Tabby Slime.
"Okay! I'm on it!" I said with a wide smile on my face as I threw a ton of Hen Hens into the Tabby Slimes mouth.
"Yes! You did it!" He said jumping up. "I've been trying to feed this slime for a week straight. How much can one Slime eat?!?" He said laughing as I smiled admiring him.
"Hey.. (Y/n)... can I tell you something." He said as I put the controller down looking at him in confusion and concern.
"Yeah go ahead." I said crossing my legs.
"Well.. Well I.. Ive had a crush on you ever since I met you." He stuttered our twiddling his fingers. I blushed slightly and smiled.
"It's alright if you don't return these feelings..." he muttered looking off to the side. I leaned towards him kissing his cheek making him jump and look at me in shock.
"So you feel the same?" He asked in pure shock as I smiled.
"No. I just kissed you for no reason." I said sarcastically with a smirk.
"So.. will you go out with me...?" He asked as I nodded. He instantly tackled me in a hug with a wide smile spreading across his face.
"Soo.. wanna help me feed the next slime so we can get the key?" He asked as I nodded.
"Let's do this." I said putting my game face on.
