"OH MY GOD! WOULD YOU SHUT UP!" Gene finally snapped. Courtney had been following him all day with her necklace in her mouth. Non stop talking. "YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!" He yelled.

"G-Gene.. you're kinda yelling right now." Courtney said causing Gene to yell.

"Would you leave me the hell alone! I don't like you and I never will!" He yelled and walked off causing his siblings to follow behind him. I stared at Courtney as she just stared as Gene walked away. Tears filled her eyes as her necklace fell out of her open mouth.

"Yeah she is like totally annoying." Jocelyn said to Tammy causing Tammy to agree. "Yeah I totally get it."

Courtney looked around hearing everyone talking about her causing tears to slip down her face. "I'm annoying..." she muttered as she began running off, but some kids books were in the ground causing her to trip.

"Oh shit! Courtney!" I yelled as all the other kids in the hallway began to laugh. This only caused Courtney to cry harder as she stood up and began running away again.

I reached out towards her trying to say something, but I couldn't. I frowned and let my hand fall to my side. "Whats wrong with you people!" I yelled causing everyone to stop laughing and look at me.

"You aren't really going to defend her are you?" Tammy said crossing her arms and popping her hip.

"Yeah, You know she's totally annoying." A random kid said.

"I agree." Jocelyn said.

"You guys are seriously messed up!" I said.

"You're just as annoying as she is. Now go run to your shrek like girlfriend." Tammy said flipping her hair.

"Go fuck yourselves." I growled and ran off in the same direction that Courtney went in. Once I see Gene he's getting punched in the face. I don't care anymore. Everyone in this school sucks! They're all mean anyways!

That's when I heard it. Sniffling! Around this corner! I quickly turned the corner, almost tripping over someone.

I caught myself and looked down seeing Courtney in tears in a ball leaning against the wall.

"Courtney..." I muttered as she just looked away from me. "Go away. You're just here to make fun of me." She said quietly wiping her tears.

"Everyone thinks I'm annoying anyways." She said. I bent down kneeling in front of her as I put one of my hands to her face, wiping her tears with my thumb.

"I don't think you're annoying." I spoke using my other hand to pull the necklace from her mouth as I pressed my lips to hers. She gasped into the kiss. It took a second, but she kissed back grabbing my shirt pulling me closer to her.

After a minute or two we pulled away and smiled at each other. "I really like you." I spoke causing her smile to widen.

"I really like you too." She responded pulling me in for another kiss.

Gene stood at the other end of the hall with a heartbroken look. That's what he deserves. You shouldn't be so mean.
