Chelsea

I haven't talked to Kentrell in 3 days and as much as it was killing me I just couldn't find myself to say anything to him . I didn't want to hear shit he had to say nor Nicky who seemed to be in a happy ass mood every since she told me they use to fuck off .

Since then I haven't really been talking to anyone besides Tamika and Jordan every now and then . Jordan was nice enough to be my ride from home to school too .

I avoided Kentrell as much as I could which wasn't easy when you know he was watching your every move .

" Where Mika ass at anyway ? I need somebody to argue with . " Jordan chuckled as we headed to our table to sit .

I looked around the lunchroom my eyes falling on Kentrell who was staring at both Jordan and I with this demonic ass look plastered across his face . I quickly looked away turning back around .

" She probably got held back or something . She'll be here soon . " I assured him as I opened my green Fanta drink .

" Waddup withchu' and ol' boy ? " Jordan asked as he took a bite of his chicken sandwich .

" Who ? " I asked playing dumb as if I had no clue who he was referring to . Truth was I didn't want to discuss Kentrell nor the situation that was going on .

Jordan smacked his lips looking at me . " You know exactly who . "

" Look , I'm single . Don't ask me about anybody youn' see me with nomo' . " I retorted

" Oop , my bad then gangsta . " He rose his arms up in defense .

I chuckled throwing a fry into my mouth . " So , how's your mom ? And Jace ? " I questioned referring to his younger brother .

" Jace straight being bad as hell as always , lil fat head ass . " Jordan shook his head .

" Ay , don't do my lil' boyfriend . " I playfully nudged him . " And your mom ? "

Jordan smile faded and by the expression that was written over his face I could tell it wasn't anything good .

" You don't have to tell me if you don't want to . " I made clear not wanting to talk about it if it was a touchy subject .

After a few minutes of silence he finally spoke up . " She's in the hospital . "

" Oh my gosh . " I frowned . " Why ? Is she alright ? "
