Sasuke's P.O.V

What the heck is happening? What is he hiding? Why won't he tell me? What didn't Tsunade tell me?

"What is going on Naruto."

I tried to calm down. I was still irritated because they lied to me about what happened to Naruto. Naruto didn't want to look at me. He was still holding his chest. Is he hurt? He sighed and spoke in a low and maybe a little bit shaky voice.

"W-what exactly did baa-chan tell you?"

I raised an eyebrow at him. Didn't he tell Tsunade to lie so he could stay here? For some reason.

"She told me your house burned down and you got nowhere to stay. She told me you would leave once it got fixed again and that it was only for a little while."

Naruto fought his feet up to his chest and buried his face in them. Why is he acting like this? It's unusual to see him so down. He usually smiles and shouts. It's actually nice like this without him shouting like crazy. I relaxed against the sofa. Maybe if I stay calm he will tell me. At this rate he won't say anything. Dobe.

"So are you going to answer me? You're wasting my time."

"It's not like you got anything important to do anyway..."

He muttered under his breath but I could still hear it. Damn he got guts to say that to me. I had to restrain myself from hitting him. He still refused to look at me. This is getting annoying.

"If you don't tell my why you're here and why you lied I'll throw you out."

He stiffened a bit. Did I hit a nerve? Hmpf. I smirked knowing he was going to tell me what's going on now. Why does he want to stay here anyway? He would probably much more like to stay with Sakura or Iruka.

"You have to promise.....that you won't tell anyone..."

"Yeah yeah sure. Who am I suppose to tell it to anyway? (1) Spit it out already."

He raised his head but didn't look at me. He just stared out into the air.

"I got cancer."

Is that why he wanted to-wait. What! I choked on my own saliva. Cancer?! What the fuck? When did he get that? Is he joking with me. I looked at him and he looked back meeting my gaze. I could tell he was serious. God.....

Naruto's P.O.V

He seemed like he'd seen a ghost. I looked down at the floor again. I can't believe baa-chan told him that anyway! How could she lie about something so serious? I coughed. It seemed to have caught Sasuke's attention. I covered my mouth with my hands. What is he going to say? Will he throw me out? I don't want to go back to the hospital.

"Is it serious?"

"Only lung cancer....nothing fatal at the moment..."

I heard he breathed out relieved I think.

"I guess I don't have to ask you why you are carrying that tank around everywhere you go...."

So that's why he was looking at me like that before. I feel stupid now that I didn't notice that he didn't know anything. Agh...Sasuke stood up. I looked confused at him.

"I am going to make some tea. When I'm done you are going to explain everything to me. Got it?"

I nodded and tried to stand up. I almost fell but managed to get up. I sat down on the sofa and placed my mask on the table. I then noticed we didn't clean the blood up. Nah. I can clean it up later. I'm too tired right now. I looked over at the kitchen. Sasuke was making tea. It smells surprisingly good. I wonder if he can cook? Probably since he lives by himself. After about 10 min Sasuke came back with two cups of tea. I grabbed one of them and took a sip. I almost spit it out because it was so warm. Sasuke chuckled but tried to hide it. Teme. I glared at him and blowed on the tea. Sasuke took a sip too.
