4 - The Party

"Reg I already told you I don't want to go to Nick's party. I just don't trust the guy" Freddie said whilst sipping her iced tea. "Ughh come on babe. It'll be fun, why've you gotta be such a buzzkill all the time" Reggie said whilst rolling his eyes at his girlfriend. Freddie had to admit that even though she liked Reggie he could be a real pain in the arse sometimes. "Fine I'll go, but if something bad happens don't say I didn't warn you Reginald mantle" Freddie winked at the boy before quickly kissing him on the cheek and leaving for her next class.

The school day seems to drag on for Freddie and the last thing she wanted was to go to that party, but she knew she had to for Reggie's sake.

It was about 8:30pm and Reggie had arrived at the Keller house to pick up Freddie. Waiting for Freddie to finish getting ready, Reggie was stuck with having to talk to Tom Keller. Reggie had to admit he was slightly scared of the man but he would never tell Freddie that.

After what felt like hours of waiting Freddie finally came down the stairs ready to go. The two quickly said goodbye to Mr Keller before wasting no time to set off for Nick StClaires party.

The party was loud and the room smelt like alchohol. Freddie sat on the sofa next to Betty, the two both seemed as though they didn't want to be there. Before Freddie could start any conversation with Betty she was grabbed by Reggie as he brought her into another room. "What do you want?" Freddie sighed as she broke free of the bigger boys hold. "You" was all Reggie said before kissing her. Freddie quickly ran away from the boy. "Reg your drunk. Stop" "no you stop Freddie! Stop leading me on!" Freddie was shocked by his words as she shyly said "what do you mean?" "You know what I mean Freddie! Your always teasing with me and then never do anything more than kiss me! It's not fair". Freddie backed away from the guy as her hand reached the doorknob. "Yes it is fair Reggie, because if I'm not ready for that stuff you should accept that instead of trying to pressure me into having sex with you!" Freddie left the party and wasted no time in driving away from that hell hole.

Not only was she angry but Reggie's words really hurt Freddie. She went to the only person she knew who wouldn't be at that party.
