I ignored a pilot just for a person who cannot even let himself use his wings to fly

instead locked himself in a cage.

I neglected a seafarer just for a man who can swim into the extent of my soul

but cannot venture into the depth of his psyche.

I refused a dancer who can bend his body with the rhythm of my own language

just for a guy who cannot even understand his own movements.

I missed lots of opportunities to meet better partner

just because I thought I was blinded and infatuated.

No, I was not.

But because you chained me with a love

that I thought was almost perfect

yet I was eaten by pain and swallowed by sadness everyday.

Nevertheless, I am still thankful to myself for having the courage to put a period in that story

and continue writing because you are just a page of my life.
