It was too heavy not to hide,
so I just scream every night inside.
I want to cry, I want to run,
but ended up writing for someone.
It was too risky to try again,
and this poem can explain the pain.
The words I feel, I hardly say.
I should have left these yesterday.
My heart is strong with masked emotion.
My eyes are weak, can cry an ocean.
Too hard to stay in the same place,
but how deep, I have to embrace.
Swallowed and anchored by the earth,
yet it comforts me a gives me mirth,
close my eyes, feel you forever.
Together nothing gets better.
