"before veronica left the trailer, she looked at the boy she slept with appearance. he had jet black hair and wasn't very muscular. after that, she ran out the place to go to the pembrooke."

-

after veronica reached the pembrooke, she slammed the door behind her and caught her breath.

she didn't want to turn into what she was in new york: partying with boys and sleeping with them.

she didn't mind partying with girls, she just didn't know if she's ever slept with one.

maybe she has, she doesn't know.

veronica's mom, hermione, must've heard the door slam, as she came out of bedroom to see who was at the door.

"veronica? what are you doing? did you forget something?"

"n-no. i came back to, um.. get dressed because.. i spent a night at betty's, yeah i did that." veronica stammered at her words, not even believing the own lie she made.

"oh, okay..." hermione mumbled. "well, hurry up because school is starting soon." hermione reminded veronica, walking back to her bedroom.

veronica exhaled, walking upstairs to her room to pick out something to wear for school.

veronica rummaged through her closet, desperately trying to find something that at least matched, but nothing.

after a long time, veronica found something decent, which was a purple blouse with lace on top, a lace up black skirt, and her black louis vuitton's.

after that, veronica went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and to wash her face. she then went to her mother's room to tell her she was heading out. hermione had something to say though.

"your dad is coming in today," hermione reminded veronica, in which she rolled her eyes. she did not like her father at all because of the things he's did to her family and friends. "put on your best act."

veronica mumbled a "whatever," and headed out the apartment, being greeted by andre, her personal driver, and his black 2011 dodge challenger.

he rolled out the window, waved, and said, "need a ride?"

veronica groaned, but a smile tugged at her lips. andre was a sweet, charming man, and would be so much more if hiram, veronica's dad, never treated him like that.

"i told you like, 1,000 times already, i can walk to school." veronica said as she made her way down the steps and towards andre.

"i know, but your dad kinda asked me to keep watch of you." veronica growled lowly at the mention of her father's name, going towards the back seat to open the car door.

once she got in, she fiddled with her fingers as andre started driving to riverdale high, a high school veronica went to.

after what felt like hours, (which was actually minutes, since driving to school took at least 8 minutes) andre stopped the car, waiting for veronica to get out.

"do you think my father is a bad person?" veronica asked suddenly. she's had it on her mind since day 1.

"i can't answer that, ms. lodge—i mean, veronica." andre answered truthfully. veronica has asked him to call her "veronica," since she didn't like his proper speaking "ms. lodge."

veronica got out the car, thanking andre for the ride, and headed towards the school.

this is going to be a long day. veronica said to no one in particular.
