And there I was relaxing in a meadow full of flowers... that is until I was struck by lightning and woke to see Nate on my chest laughing at me.

"I seriously hate it when you do that!" I shouted as I got up and saw that Anna was still asleep with Dyce in her hands. It was adorable but we have to go. "Wake up sis we need to get to Santalune city." I told her shacking her a little as she slowly woke.

"Breakfast first."

"I'll buy you ice cream when we get there." I said and she immediately got herself ready."

{Knew that would work.} I then released Striker and we climbed on him and went on our way.

<About 30 minutes of riding later.> 

"So this is Santalune city! It's so big!" said as she was looking at all the houses and Pokemon that caught her attention. 

"Not really, Lumiose city is way bigger than this." I said as she stared at me her eyes sparkling "Don't worry that's our next stop after I win the gym battle, but first . Ice cream!"

"Yah!" she and Nate squealed in excitement at the mention of their favorite dessert as I chuckled and made our way to the nearest ice cream stand.

"I'm having chocolate chip. What do you guys want?" I asked as shouted vanilla Nate pointed to the chocolate and Dyce crossed his arms and looked away "Since you're gonna act like that, none for you." I said but he wasn't bothered by it and I ordered the ice cream and handed it them and we were about to started eating them but Nate just had to climb up my shoulder before he grabbed it out of my hands and started eating as well.

"Picture perfect."  a female voice said along as I turned to see is a slim young girl of medium height. She has blonde hair cut in a chin length bob which curls under, with two slightly longer, thin locks which hand in front of her ears, green eyes and a pale complexion. She was wearing a white vest, greyish- green cropped pants with lots of pockets and a white belt, brown ankle boots with laces that match her trousers and a matching sweatband on her left wrist. She is also holding a camera. 

"What?" I asked confused as she came towards me and showed me her picture which was of Nate on my shoulder with both of us eating ice cream.

"You two really have a close bond. You can tell that in an instant." she said smiling at me as she held out her hand "I'm Viola." she said as I shook her hand.

"I'm Dyne, this is Nathan, and this is my little sis Anna and soldier over here is Dyce."

"Nice to meet you. Is this your first time in Santalune City?" 

"It's mine. Big bro here to beat the gym leader again!" Anna answered for me.

"Again? Huh?" she said chuckling a little "Well I wish you luck in your battle." she said then walked away.

"That was odd. Anyway time for a gym battle." I said then went went straight towards the gym... after a few side stops cause sis wanted to explore... moving on.

I made my way into the gym to and into the ring to see the Viola at the opposite end of it.

"You're the gym leader?"

"Yep. Got started two years ago and I'm not anything like the old one." she said then sent out a Surskit.

"Huh. Anyway let's make this a good battle." I said as I sent out Striker to fight her Surskit.

"Use thunder fang!" I ordered as he did as ordered and charged straight at it with lighting arching around its fangs.

"Dodge then use ice beam." She ordered as her Surskit swiftly moved to the other side of the field then hit his feet with an icebeam freezing him to that spot.

"Break the ice with iron tail." I ordered as he started hacking away at the ice but it was too strong to break.

"Not gonna be that easy." She said as her Surskit started circling Striker while hitting him with more and more icebeams until he was frozen solid "Now use take down." She ordered as it charged straight at him and knocked him straight out of the field.

"Striker is unable to battle the winner is Surskit."

"You did a good job, take a good rest." I said as I returned him to his Pokeball then started weighing my options { She wasn't kidding when she said she made this harder for me, Her Surskit is faster and stronger, I need a new strategy...}

"Guess I'll stick to speed." I said as I said as I sent out my next Pokemon Flash.

"Circle around it!" I ordered as flash started circling around the Surskit faster than the eye could see leaving after images here and there, "Use rain dance." She ordered as it twirled around a bit and rain clouds formed above us and it started raining on the battle field { Okay what is she planing.}

"Get in close and use night slash." Flash did as ordered and charged straight as the Surskit with blinding speeds ready to strike.

"Use ice beam on the floor." She ordered as her Surskit aimed an ice beam at the ground freezing the entire battlefield in an instant as Flash slipped on it when he was mere inches away from it { Well shit. There's goes my speed advantage.} Flash looked like he just had his pride ripped away from him very thoroughly { Now I have to win or he'll cut my arms off... along with other things...}

"Stay where you are and use psycho cut!" I said then he used his right arm as an anchor while using the other to send the attack straight at the Surskit and scored a direct hit knocking it back a few inches "Now use swords dance and use continuous psycho cuts until it goes down!" Flash followed my orders exactly as it launched multiple empowered slashes of psychic energy at the dazed bug type until it eventually got knocked of its feet with swirling eyes which only meant one thing.

"Surskit is unable to battle. The match goes to Flash." The referee said as she returned her Surskit and sent out a Dustoks.
