After we spent our time in the cafe, we decided to head to the store for Ethan. I got out, Mark deciding to stay in the car given that he didnt really need anything and he didn't trust leaving the car all by itself. I walked inside, having medicine for Ethan on my mind. Advil, cough drops, tissues, and other items I deemed worthy of helping blue boy get better. I went to the counter to check out after about five more minutes of quickly searching. I paid for my items, getting a little bag for them. I placed my change in my back pocket, the one that didn't contain my phone. After situated, I head back outside to the parking lot. Except, Mark's vehicle was gone. I gave a sigh as I looked around a bit more. I began to walk around the lot a bit, looking from side to side. I pulled my phone out, going through my contacts and searching for 'Moo'. I found it, and clicked on the contact. I was about to click dial, until I heard a familiar voice.
"(Y/N)!" I heard the accented voice yell out. I turned to spot Sean. I gave a confused expression as I walked over to him. He appeared to be in a vehicle I hadn't recognized.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I furrowed my brows softly at him.
"Mark said he had to do something, so I came to pick you up." He spoke. He seemed to be acting odd. He had both his hands on the steering wheel. I nodded as I walked over to him, getting in the passenger side. I placed the items in my lap as I buckled in.
"So, I'm guessing you just woke up? Or that you're sick too?" I asked, noticing his odd attitude. His eyes seemed darker around the edges, his skin a bit pale. He shivered as if cold. Odd, it felt pretty warm outside. In fact, the windows were rolled down. I checked the rearview mirror, something catching my eyes. He began to pull off before I could ask about it, however. I glanced back to see that it was a coil of rope. Odd..
"Um.. What's that for?" I asked as I furrowed my brows softly. His shiver seemed to turn into a twitch, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the steering wheel harshly.
"Props." He spoke simply. I nodded, unsure of what to say or do. I just hoped we'd get to the hotel sooner than later. After a few more minutes of driving, the hotel came into view. However, instead of pulling into the parking lot, we drove right past it.
"Uh-.. Sean, the hotel is back there." I spoke as I furrowed my brows, giving a confused expression.
"We're not going to the hotel." He spoke as he twitched once more, gripping the steering wheel harder yet.
"Then-.. Where are we going?" I asked in a quieter voice as I looked over at him. He didn't answer. "Jack, I want to go ba-"
"I'm not Jack!" He exploded, glaring harshly yet not aiming it at me as he began to drive slightly faster. The steering wheel bent under his grasp. I coward in my chair, hugging my arms around myself.
"Sean- Sean, I'm sorry." I apologized almost inaudibly as I kept my eyes out the front window. I had wondered why he seemed so angry about a simply misunderstanding.. I became scared. I'd called Sean Jack before, but he didn't even seem to notice. He seemed so chipper yesterday, what the hell happened? Maybe he had been holding it in? Then again, he was acting really weird. After a few more moments of silence, he slowed as he turned into the parking lot of what appeared to be a run down building. It even had construction vehicles surrounding it. They also appeared empty. This must've meant that someone was prepared to tear it down, just not today.
"Why are we here..?" I asked as he shut the car off and got out. I didn't yet exit. He looked through the window, glaring at me. I swallowed in fear as I unbuckled and got out. I opened my phone to send a quick text to 'Moo'.| I'm scared |
I sent the message to Mark before placing my phone back in my pocket. I left the medicine in the bag sitting in the passenger seat. I had an awful feeling of everything about this. I followed him as he entered the building. It was dark, the only light being that of the sun outside as it shone through the broken windows. My phone buzzed, notifying me that Mark had messaged back. I pulled it out and looked at the message, but it was from an unknown number.
| Don't trust him |I shuddered as I turned it back off. Before I could place it back into my back pocket, another message was sent to it. I unlocked it again.
| Run |
I gave a terrified expression as the same message began to be spammed to my phone. I had to put my phone on silent, placing it in my back pocket once more.
"Sean, I think I should be going... I can walk so you don't have to-" I began, but was cut off as he turned, grabbing my wrist harshly. He was twitching like a maniac, his cold fingers digging into my flesh. "Sean- s-stop.. It hurts." I begged as I tried to pry his hand away. His freezing glare sent shivers down my spine. I looked into his eyes, letting out a scream as he began to drag me away.
"Sean!" I yelled out. Just a dream.. Just a dream.. An awful nightmare. This wasn't real! He wouldn't hurt me! He wouldn't..
"Shut up!" He yelled out as he turned, grabbing my other arm. I had now noticed that the rope was wrapped around his shoulder, the same one in the car. I felt tears fill my eyes. I ripped one of my arms free of his grasp as he continued to drag me along. I grabbed my phone, dialing Marks number and clicking call. It rang, but he had knocked the electronic device from my hand.
"Hello?" I heard him ask, it being almost inaudible.
"Mark, help me!" I screamed out as Sean brought us into a different room, him slamming the door shut behind me. He threw me forwards, causing me to stumble but not fall. I let out a other scream, turning to him. "What do you want!?" I yelled out as he twitched madly, his body gaining what looked like glitches. He began to giggle, staring down at the ground. My hands balled into fists. His giggles turned into laughter, his voice having an electronic edge to it.
"Let me go!" I screamed out in fear and fury, my vision blurred by my tears. He lifted his head, his eyes causing me to back up. His bright, baby blue irises were now a bright green. Their glow showed at the corners of his eyes, his eyes. His teeth were pointed like a carnivorous animal's. His expression consisted of a sadistic smile. I backed up, feeling the cold wall against my back. I let out a cry as he rushed at me, pressing a hand against the wall beside my head. I closed my eyes, turning to look away from him. I felt his cold hand grab my chin, forcing me to face him.
"O̺̐ͫp̜͜ė͙n̘̦̿̒͟͠ ̨̀̊̕y̓̂͏̛ơ̌͠uͤr̴ͫ̓ ̨͊ĕ̖͍ͥ͡ỳe͎̮s̡͉̥̓̕~͓̀́͝" His voice was low and demonic, it having a glitch to it to match his form. I gave a hiccup as I opened my eyes to look up at him. His terrifying eyes bore into mine, their green glow being cast onto my skin as well to give it an eerie tint. Tears stained my cheeks as he let go of me, tipping his head to the side slightly. I glanced behind him, spotting a familiar face. A cry caught in my throat.
