I woke up to hear something. Something fuzzy and repetitive. I groaned as I rolled over. My arm extended out, hitting something. Something warm. I opened my eyes drowsily to see my arm extended out and placed on the chest of a familiar man. I sucked in a gasp as I quickly pulled away, hearing knocking against the door. So that was the sound. But who could it have been? I rolled out of the warm bed, standing up and walking over to the door and opening it. I seen an unfamiliar face.
"Yea?" I asked as I gave a yawn, rubbing my face in a tired manner. I glanced back and seen Nathan sit up, staring at me. The stranger looked down at me. He had curly brown hair and bright blue eyes. I didn't recognize him. At all.
"(Y/N)?" He asked. I shook my head. "I have something you need to do. Could you step out of the room, please?" He asked. I hesitated a moment before doing so, giving the stranger a confused expression. The door shut behind me. Great, I didnt even have the card.
"What do you want?" I asked, seeing how it were still dark by the window at the end of the hallway.
"There's a package for you downstairs." He spoke as he pulled something out of his pocket.
"Um.. Ok." I replied as I furrowed my brows softly, beginning to walk to the stairs. Once in the lobby, I looked around to notice that no one was around. I didnt even see the stranger I had spotted before. My heart caught in my chest as I felt something grab me from behind, wrapping something around my mouth. I went to let out a scream, but it had been muffled. I flailed and kicked with all my might as I felt myself being dragged to the door. Oh god. Was I being kidnapped?! Surely someone was around. I screamed and screamed, but it was all muffled. I tried to pull the cloth off, bite at the hand holding it there, but nothing. I became even more frantic and desperate, trying to grab the doorway as I was dragged outside. My hand slipped as the stranger gave a tug, continuing to bring me somewhere. I felt tears fill my eyes as I became petrified. I heard voices, a car door opening. I managed to slip my mouth free, for only a moment though.
"Nathan! Hel-" I screamed out, hoping he or someone could help me. I didn't know why he was the one I decided to yell for. Probably because he was the one who I knew was awake, or at least hoped. The stranger covered my mouth again, cutting me off.
"Keep her quiet, hurry!" I heard another hiss. The tears that once filled my eyes were now streaming down my cheeks as I were being forced into the vehicle. I grabbed the doorway, kicking and flailing, screaming desperate screams to be released. Nothing. None of it helped my side at all. I were finally shut in, screaming hopelessly. Surely someone heard my desperate shouts. The car drove off quickly. I felt something cold press against my temple as I grabbed the door handle. I closed my eyes, guessing what it had been. I heard a click, it supporting my guess. I slowly let go, the cold metal pressing against my skin and warning me. Pain exploded against my head as the stranger slammed the object against it, causing me to go limp as I was forced into unconsciousness.
I slowly woke up, hearing loud sounds. I wasn't sure what was going on, but it sounded like shouting. I opened my eyes, being laid down on a cold, concrete floor. I spotted figures frantically fighting off... Something. More specifically someone. One of the figures held up a gun at the other, but he simply grabbed it before he could do anything. I recognized the figure.. He turned the gun on the man, loud gunfire piercing the air as he had shot the stranger with his own weapon. I closed my eyes and turned to look away as three more gunshots rang out. I lay there motionlessly. After a few moments, I let out a scream as I felt hands grab me.
"Shh! You're ok, everything's fine!" I heard a voice half whisper half yell at me. I felt a warm hand cover my mouth to silence me. I opened my eyes, looking up to see Nathan. I could've sworn that his eyes seemed different for a split moment.. I gave a terrified expression. Tears filled my eyes once more. I felt something else dribble down my forehead. I lifted a hand to feel it, bringing it back down to see blood on my fingertips. It must've been from when I had been hit in the head.
"Nathan-.." I spoke as a cry cut me off, my own. I sat up, feeling his hand as he used his sleeve to gently wipe the blood from my forehead. I wrapped my arms around him, placing my head against his chest. I felt his hand pat my back softly. More gunshots rang out. A pain singed my back as I gave a gasp. More yelling. I looked up to see that Nathan now had a pissed yet terrified expression as he looked down at me. His eyes seemed to change, his irises turning a bright red. He held onto me a moment longer before setting me down, charging at the individuals. They shot at him, but he appeared unfazed by their actions. My eyes closed as I began to feel drowsy, a hot liquid dribbling down my back and staining my shirt. My back felt as though it were on fire. I had thought about it, realizing that I had been shot. I felt arms slip beneath me, scooping me up and beginning to carry me. I had noticed that the gunfire had stopped. The world around me shook as I were being carried outside. Once outside, I was set down on the ground. I looked up at Nathan, his irises glowing.
"I told you, doll." His voice was smooth, different. I reached up as the world around me began to darken. I placed my hand against his cheek. He placed a hand on the center of my chest, my wound slowly beginning to feel.. Better. The pain slowly left as he bent down, slowly bringing his face closer to mine. I felt his lips graze against mine, his eyes closing slightly.
"I must be patient-.." He spoke as he held up a hand. The strangers surrounded us, each carrying a gun. They aimed the deadly weapons down at us. "Wake up."I opened my eyes, giving a gasp as I looked around. I spotted Nathan beside me, him breathing softly as he slept. His eyes were closed, him still facing towards me. I gave a sigh as I closed my eyes once more, it still being dark outside. Such an odd dream.. More or less a nightmare. That's when I had noticed that something were against my waist. I brought my hand down, grabbing his wrist and slowly dragging it away, setting his arm back beside him and off of me. This would be a long night. I tried to get some rest, keeping my eyes closed as I attempted to fall back asleep, even if I didn't want to.
