" That was very nice of you", Sonny pulled himself off the floor.

That was when I realized that the bulky scarred man I thought was shouting and shaking me was Sonny. And his trying to wake me up.

I glanced around to see a serious and disturbed expression of Zac and Megan.

I was still in the library, lying on my back. My book is lying on the floor which I remembered, I was holding before I fell asleep.

I was sweating bullets and breathing heavily. My throat burned when I tried to form coherent words probably from shouting.

" What did you dream about?"

" I don't really know", I rasped out. I don't want them to worry over things that I wasn't sure about. Even though I already had a hunch about it.

Zac tsked shaking his head in disapproval. His lips curled up in a thin line, his eyes watching me sharply. " What is it about 'really'?". He said the word as if he knows that I was lying.

" I said, I don't know", I slightly panicked. The last thing I want to do is to put them in danger. I will keep it to myself, for now. And if my speculations were true, then that's the time I will inform them about it.

" Was it horrible? You were shouting"

" I don't know. I don't remember anything".

I feel uncomfortable under Megan scrutinizing eyes. She had been watching me since I woke up. She's looking at me as if she can see through my soul and could hear my thoughts.

" Maybe it did, you were screaming something, though we couldn't understand it".

I shrugged. "It was really nothing. Maybe it was the result of watching too many horror movies.

Everyone looked at Sonny pointedly.

"What? Those movies were fictional, meaning they weren't true, it's the matter of author's wild imagination which make the movie spectacular."

Zac rises his hands in surrender as if he couldn't take us anymore. "Okay, okay. We get it. Tim's mother invited us over for dinner. You coming?"

" Yeah, sure". Sonny glared at me, still looking offended of what happened earlier. " I'm sorry, I didn't mean to punch you".

He nodded. " It wasn't that painful anyway".

Megan scoffed. " Sure, sure. If it helps you to sleep at night, whiney."

And that's the start of world war III.

" Thank you for inviting us for dinner, Mrs. Sandoval". Louis said politely. We were currently in Tim's house, more particularly in their dining area. Mrs. Sandoval had prepared us a full course meal and it tastes fantastic. We've learned that Mrs. Sandoval is a cook in her previous job.

Their house looks cozy and homey. It wasn't that spacious but they managed to make it look bigger. The furnitures are well arranged and it's tidy.

Tim's attitude changes tremendously from timid to talkative. We had witnessed the difference between our first encounter to what we've seeing now. He talks animatedly about his former town, his friends, his house, his school and his passion. His face stretch in a wide smile and his eyes shines brightly when he told us about his escapades and stupidities, how he and his friends used to prank other kids.

Megan and I shared the looked of envy when he talks about his former classmates. We've never been in school, we were all home schooled or at least the three of them as Zac and Louis sometimes go out to meet up with their friends which they earned during their school days.

Sometimes I would ask Carmela or Amelia to send us to a normal school. To meet new friends, to experience new things and to learn how it feel to have a competition in a class, to feel anxious and nervous during class recitation, to eat in the cafeteria with my classmates and share secrets. But they will always say, ' it's too dangerous' and when I would ask what is dangerous, they will always remain silent.

" I once had friends like yours", Megan mumbled sadly interrupting my raging thoughts.

" Why? Where are they now?" Tim said looking genuinely curious.

" Gone".
